Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijô-ban: Shito shinsei (Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth) (1995, Unrated)
Like I could have given it any other rating but a 5. Evangelion still presents me with confusion, which is why I find it so fascinating. I keep coming back every year to watch the series and the movie and each time I find something new, which either makes things easier to understand or, in some cases, screws up everything I once thought I knew about the series. |

Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijô-ban: Air/Magokoro wo, kimi ni (Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Eva (1997, Unrated)
In the DVD commentary they refer to it as an ending you could only strike by dealing with the devil. Fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion who complained over the ambiguity of the televised endings were rewarded with a "truer" ending that leaves the viewer shattered as everything in the world returns to dust. |

Spider-Man (2002, PG-13)
Never have I matched the excitement of standing in line for the first showing of Spider-Man. Since moving to North Dakota, I had no real source of collecting the comic books, so I settled for the games and any other interactive media I could get ahold of. This movie entertained the hell out of me and if I recall, I saw it 5 times in theaters. An instant classic for me. |
