I'm a smallish man with fallen arches, many moles, broad shoulders, and delicate well shaped hands. I enjoy wearing hats and smoking pipes. I come from a long line of fishermen, but I've only ever caught one fish in my life, and I let him go. No, you might say I'm a fisher of dreams. I also draw pretty pictures, go here to see more of them: www.lowellart.com |

1.
There Will Be Blood
R
One of the best period pieces-- probably ever. P.T. Anderson paces and frames the film with almost Kubrickian consideration.
3.
Inland Empire
R
A great step for Lynch, it almost didn't feel like a movie. I was extremely excited that he used The Rabbits.
4.
The The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes
Unrated
Surprisingly structured and easy to follow, as apposed to Institute Benjamenta-- although it may have lacked the latter's sense of humor.
6.
The Cameraman (1928)
Unrated
A wonderful culmination of Keaton's independent style combined with the bigger budget of a studio. Don't miss the chance to see it with an audience and live pianist if possible.
