I really loved this movie. Gervais is as funny as he ever is but he shows actual range which is surprising and the movie is touching in a way you don't expect it to be. Everyone else is strong and clever in the way they ALWAYS have to tell the truth. It's a refreshing, funny and surprisingly touching movie.

Whether you want to or not and whether you were scared or not and even whether you enjoyed it or not, one thing you have to admit about this movie: it's genius. For $11,000 they took a concept that was arguably invented and made popular by The Blair Witch Project and crafted a movie so simple yet so scary on a primitive level that it rakes in MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. If that's not smart, I don't know what is.

Pure whimsy and magical charm

One of the most important films I've ever seen. It's absolutely heartbreaking while being beautiful, deep and insightful about life, love and death. The visuals as well as the acting are absolutely breathtaking. Clint Mansell's score is haunting as well. Such an amazing and, to me, perfect film. I loved every second of it.
