A beautiful movie. There's hardly any other word to describe it. It's beautiful, and it's flawless. It tops every other superhero movie I've seen. It's a must.

Cloverfield 4.0 Stars
"Cloverfield" is short but it's anything but simple. It's amazingly poignant, with a cast of living, breathing, real-life characters you actually care for. Tops "I Am Legend" in my book.

I can't belive this movie bombed at the box office. James Franco was amazing in a leading role. The story was captivating, and the cinematography was wonderful. I wish I could have seen it on an IMAX screen!

The Matrix (1999,  R)
The Matrix 4.5 Stars
The Matrix is a modern classic. Superb acting, revolutionary special effects, and an intriguing story aren't all that this film boasts; there's also striking allegories and philosophical depth that make The Matrix more than any other science fiction movie. Throw in some cool sunglasses and lots of guns, and you have a masterpiece.

Pure magic. Nothing will ever equal "Star Wars" for its innovation, its timelessness, and its cast of unforgettable characters. A classic, in every sense of the word.
