The Eye Creatures - Unrated Heheheh I added this movie. :D

It's a classic budget horror. The costuming errors, cheesy monsters, make-out scenes... You'll love to hate this one.

Aliens in the Attic - PG Pleasantly surprised.

It's not incredibly original. But nothing coming out nowadays is. The reason I can approve of this film? It felt like something that was a little older and more classic. As my mom put it, it was a "total no-brainer". You wouldn't think of that as a compliment, but it's an easy movie to just sit down and watch.

Ashley Tisdale was in a bikini for... most of the movie. Why? Nobody knows. (We all know that lake-fronted communities are terrible for sunbathing, as the airs are plagued with mosquitoes... and really... her poor brother.) There was a lot of physical comedy, including a redundant theme of crotch-pain, but it comes with the territory.

I'd like to make it clear that all boys named Ricky will break your heart.

Moving on, the entire experience was pretty clean. No, it didn't make you think. No, it didn't challenge any important ideas. But it's probably a good film to take your kids to.

And did you see the twins' hair? LOL.

Heaven Can Wait - PG The beginning was a little slow. And since I quickly got the impression that it was a sport movie, I was moments away from bashing my face in. The movie itself is built on a pretty interesting theme, but it's still not highly original-- it feels like any other movie about the afterlife and even a few Christmas specials which shall remain nameless. It's also a remake, and apparently the original was centered around boxing, which to be honest sounds slightly more interesting.

Most of the characters were likable or amusing, although the love-interest perturbed me at first and there wasn't an incredible strength to the relationship in any case.

The ending was proper for a "classic". In other words, it was a vague, open ending that messed with your head. So I'm not really sure whether I like it or not, but without the ambiguity or mystery this film clearly would not have made the cut.

All in all it was actually a decent film worth the time, and even worth remembering... but it wasn't epic.

What Girls Learn - Unrated I watched this because Scott Bakula was in it, only I got jipped, because he has a mustache.

Decent. I missed the first large portion, but all-in-all... it's one of those painfully realistic, tragic yet "hopeful" type films that has it's moments, and makes you think sometimes, but doesn't have a whole lot of epicness. It also ends with no closure to bug us all.

Coraline - PG "A modern day horror version of Alice and Wonderland meets Spirited Away. "

Good job Civ my boy!! My thoughts exactly! Except I didn't catch on to the Alice and Wonderland but I totally see it now.

And if you liked The Nightmare Before Xmas or James and the Giant Peach, you'll love this. Probably.

As per usual, Henry Selick has made a very artistic, dark, absurdly clever film-- yet a lot more intense than usual.

This type of film naturally attracts me. It has a lot of personality, very unique, unforgettable.. and it's dark, but certainly not "horror". I love that. And I was not disappointed. Very few characters when you really consider it-- but they're all very well portrayed. It weaves quite a web into you.

I did not like the opera scene with the yucky nudity. That may sound like a spoiler, but I must pronounce this to the world. Nasty sauce.

This movie was captivating enough to keep my attention. Quite a feat!

God it's hot in here.

Anywho, it's quite a trip.
