One of the best movies I've seen in a long time, Let the Right One In is based on a book by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist. Set in 1980's Stockholm, a 12 year old boy finds himself an easy target for school bullies and dreams of gaining revenge on them. When a 12 year old girl girl moves in to the same apartment block as him, she helps change his life and helps him stand up to the bullies, while struggling to hide her own secret. She needs to be invited in to rooms before entering, she cannot go out during the daytime and needs to drink blood to survive. Despite finding out about her secret, the young boy falls in love with her and helps her when she's put in jeopardy after corpses are found drained of their blood.

This pre-teen vampiric romance is the movie that Twilight wishes it was.

My favourite film of all time. It'll probably be never beaten
