I loved it. The whole effect of switching from colour to black and white made it really bizarre. It's the kind of film converted from a graphic novel that you can watch without reading any of the stories.
Fantastic film, really hilarious. One of the best british films ever. I think it would be better if they showed this to schoolchildren instead of those crap drugs education videos they get.
An excellent film. Joaquin and Reese sounded exactly like Johnny Cash and June Carter, and their performances all round were amazing. The only letdown was that Elvis didn't sound much like Elvis, but everything in this film was great.
Michael Bay has totally outdone himself working on this movie. The human performances were all well played. Young stars Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox did very well, but the best of the human actors was Jon Voight in his role as the Secretary of Defence. When the robots are first introduced, we first see the sports car that is Bumblebee fighting against an evil police car, who turns out to be the decepticon Barricade, who chases Sam (LeBeouf) with the intent of killing him. The other Autobots aren't introduced until about halfway through the movie, but when they show up, it is Peter Cullen who has the star turn of the movie, as the one true voice of Optimus Prime. As we are introduced to the Autobots, the Decepticons follow. Having already been introduced to Scorponok and Barricade, we then meet Starscream, Bonecrusher, Devastator, and finally, Megatron. Hugo Weaving, in place of Frank Welker(the original voice of Megatron), really does the character justice, and the battle between the two groups of Transformers makes for an amazing finale, which sets the scene for a sequel. A fantastic adaptation of the old cartoon, by far the best movie of summer 2007.
