Shooter
R
There were some good parts of the movie, but for being a suspicious and loner former soldier, he seemed a little too naive in the beginning of the film and out of character for what they portrayed as his conspiracy and paranoia level.
There were also too many predictable moments. And the ending where he got revenge was also a little weak with the bad guys being pretty damn stupid.
I wanted to like this movie more... but it is a struggle to even give it 3 stars.
Notes on a Scandal
R
Great movie! Judi Dench was incredible and her character's narrative throughout the movie were awesome! Cate Blanchett as usual was great.
King Arthur
PG-13
Good movie. Could have been better in several ways. But the visuals and cinematography were great, the casting was good, and the music score is awesome.
I always like Keira Knightly and what she did with her role as Guinevere was good, but being a major character the writers really needed to give more depth to her.
I really appreciated a dark and gritty and somewhat more likely to be realistic take on the King Arthur legend.
After Excalibur, it rates as my 2nd favorite King Arthur movie.
Saving Face
R
good movie!
although I would have liked it even more if they had a little bit more character development for her girlfriend.
about half the movie is spoken in Chinese with english subtitles. The comedy, drama, romance and, tender moments make this a beautiful movie.

1.
Braveheart
R
Probably my all time favorite movie! Besides the few obvious historical inaccuracies, this movie is awesome. Great acting, great cinematography, great movie soundtrack/score. Beautiful scenery, etc. Historical fiction at its best!
2.
Gladiator
R
One of my all time favorites! Great acting. Great story. Great battle scenes. Great cinematography. Great ending. Great everything! Also the film score, by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard, is probably the best I have ever heard.
3.
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring
PG-13
All 3 movies were great, but this was the best of the trilogy.
4.
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
PG-13
Awesome movie. Good end to the trilogy. The 2nd best of the three films.
5.
The Bounty
PG
Very intriguing and imaginative story of the historical accounts of The Bounty. Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson are great. The setting is beautiful and awe inspiring. Historical fiction at its very best!
6.
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers
PG-13
Great movie. The only major flaw was that the last 1/3 of the movie was too choppy going back and forth between the Battle of Helmsdeep and the Ent Moot.

Ne le Dis à Personne (Tell No One)
by MarkConfusing, convoluted, but also intriguing murder mystery will have you guessing until the very end when all is explained. It's got plot twists, romance and action. Gilles Lellouche as Bruno, is the kind of hoodlum you want on YOUR side.
Tense, frantic psychological thriller will keep you guessing. Check it out!
