this movie is an atrocity, the effects are terrible, the build up is terrible, the story is boring, the characters are one-dimensional, the script i fucking awful, and the scares are about as scary as a rubber ducky in a bathtub.
I really really liked this movie, I thought it had good pacing, a great story, and I am a huge fan of Will Smith and I think that overall the cast did a good job in portraying their characters. Everyone told me that this movie was really bad so I finally gave it a chance and I am glad I did as I really enjoyed this movie a lot.
I finally got around to seeing this and I must say that I loved it. Nick Naylor is one of my favourite movie personas, I love the part when he says "You know that guy that can pick up any girl? I'm him... on crack!" This movie is so creatively written and it is shown so well by Aaron Eckhart's impeccable performance. Not only is this movie creative, witty, emotional, but it is also downright hilarious.
This movie is pretty fucking good. I saw this when I was stoned as fuck and it honestly blew my mind! This movie is hilarious as hell!!!! Everyone please see this movie whether you are sober or drunk or high this movie is amazing!!!!!!!!! Woody Harrelson is one of my favourite actors and he consistently provides in every role he protrays, this movie is no disappointment, I love THIS MOVIE!!!!!!
This is one of those movies that just makes you go wow. I was enthralled the whole time and was completely invested in all of the characters. I am very excited to see more of Francois Truffaut's films because quite frankly this movie was amazing.
Hell yeah! TPB!!!!! I fuckin love this show lol and the movie was no disappointment with so many hilarious antics and Lucy was downright the funniest part of this movie. I can't believe they come up with so much funny shit, unlike other shows I think that Trailer Park Boys just gets funnier and funnier each season (except for 7... that was kind of a letdown).
this movie is amazing, and Bob Garant, and Thomas Lennon are amazing. Though i must warn you this movie is on another level in random humour, so much that i would say parrallels Kung Pow (though a much better film)
This movie was pretty shitty, I loved lots of the kills and the plot was different but still kind of weak. The girls were INSANELY hot and I think that Marcus Nispel is huge horndog lol. Unfortunately though, this movie was really weak in terms of plot and acting with the exception of Jared Padalecki, I think that he is really talented but just underused in campy horror films like this and CryWolf (which wasn't actually that bad).
I enjoyed this movie, I thought that the story was well crafted albeit with its fair share of plot holes. The action scenes I thought were quite cool but one thing that got me about this movie is it felt like the screenwriter thought he was making like the next Nightwatch, something that everyone was going to love and oogle over the fact that it was really low budget.
This movie actually blew my mind. With some of the most overwhelming artistic elements I have seen in a film this movie can only help but be a jaw dropper as the entire film except for select parts are edited in the style of a comic strip where there are different panels on the screen and different viewpoints displaying what we can only speculate as to the source. My favourite part of this movie was definitely the editing which took this 500,000 dollar movie 250,000 dollars over budget but regardless it achieved what it strove to create. Also Ellen Page who is one of my favourite actresses at the moment is brilliant in this movie as she always is and is perfect for the role of Tracey as she has the innocent body type and look but can portray the hard headed and tough girl as well. What was really weak in this movie was the story, as it is as fragmented as the editing, in some parts you can only wonder how the hell they got to this point but part of me believes this to be a companion to the subtext of the film but for me it is either way too much or just weak writing.
above average horror movie with some definitely interesting moments that were both insanely brutal and downright hilarious with lots of Evil Dead type deaths and some retardedly absurd situations that can only prompt side splitting laughter. I came into this movie aware of the hype I mean who doesn't want to watch a movie about Nazi zombies? But even still I thoroughly enjoyed the movie as it delivered exactly what I expected. What I am most disappointed in with this film is the story I thought was kind of weak in some parts and the acting was also a bit shady in parts as well, but sometimes it was just kind of boring. I felt like the extremely fast paced tempo was too much to keep throughout the movie and it certainly lacked motivation in some parts.
I can count the number of movies that I have walked out of on with one hand and am disappointed to add another "film" to that list. This movie was so godawful and it had the feel that the director felt that he was avoiding all the cliches and that this movie was really good but it was just atrocious acting and poor execution that lead to this being one of my least favourite movies of all time.
I am a huge fan of Matt Dillon and Kate Beckinsale, but I must say this movie really rubbed me the wrong way. I found myself very excited at the beginning as it started off fantastically. It was intriguing and exciting and the acting throughout the movie was really great but then about half way through the movie I found myself both bored and extremely frustrated at the stagnation of the film. The plot does not move forward for about 40 minutes, you are sitting in your seat thinking to yourself "what the hell is going on, where is this movie going, I really just want to leave because nothing is happening!". My frustration ended finally at the end of the movie when the source is finally revealed and you understand the motivation of Kate Beckinsale's actions, but in my opinion it took way to long to arrive at this conclusion and if the movie's script was written tighter and some of the prison scenes were taken out I feel I would enjoy this movie much more.
