Great film, everything is top-notch; the dialogue, the characters, the story and the cast. It's also a film that gets better with each viewing. Very Funny and extremely quotable.

The Dark Knight 5.0 Stars
When going to leave my review about the film I notice my comments from a while back, which were left just after the first trailer was released, which read "Looks like all you Heath Ledger naysayers are going to have to eat your words". I do seem to remember a lot of people bitching about Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker, and all the tiresome comments about how "he's no Jack Nicholson". This isn't an 'I told you so', just a suggestion, don't question Christopher Nolan, the man is a genius!

Brilliant! It climbs higher and higher up my favourites list with each viewing, probably the best comic book movie ever made. Christopher Nolan is a genius.

One of my favourite films of all time. Everyone should see this! Its amazing, so simple aswell. Goes to show you don't need amazing special effects, a big budget and big stars to make an amazing film, just a great script.

Die Hard (1988,  R)
Die Hard 5.0 Stars
Classic! It has everything, the wisecracking hero, loads of blood and plenty of explosions. One of the things I love about this film is the suspense and stealthiness of it, McClane climbing around in the vents and elevator shafts is very fun to watch. To me there hasn't been a better straightforward action film since. Yippie Ki-Yay!

X2 5.0 Stars
I love this film, my favourite comic book movie ever! There's a load of characters in this one, but unlike X3 it is given a long enough run time and doesn't feel rushed. The impressive opening sequence with Nightcrawler, Wolverine's Weapon X flashbacks! X-fans will be in heaven.

Hugely entertaining and unique film. A mix of film genres, a comedy murder mystery is a good way to describe it. Downey Jr. and Kilmer make a great team.

Brilliant! We eventually get to see River kick some serious arse after suggestion in the show that she could be very dangerous. I myself saw the series (Firefly) first, which is what I would recommend as you will be missing some backstory otherwise.

God I love Asian cinema! It had a fairly straight forward plot and lots of amazing action and fight sequences. It also brought to mind a few of my other favourite films, including- 'Oldboy' and 'Taxi Driver'. Which can't be a bad thing?

American Psycho 4.5 Stars
Bizarre, dark and very funny. Some of the stuff that comes out of Patrick Bateman's mouth is just hilarious, especially his narration...

"As we arrive at Espace I'm on the verge of tears as I'm certain we won't get a decent table. But we do; relief washes over me in an awesome wave."

Waiter: Would you like to hear today's specials?
Patrick Bateman: Not if you want to keep your spleen.

(I could quote this all day)

A brilliant film that I enjoy more and more with each viewing.

Ed Wood (1994,  R)
Ed Wood 4.5 Stars
Edward D. Wood Jr.: I like to dress in women's clothing.
Georgie Weiss: You're a fruit?
Edward D. Wood Jr.: No, not at all. I love women. Wearing their clothes makes me feel closer to them.
Georgie Weiss: You're not a fruit?
Edward D. Wood Jr.: No, I'm all man. I even fought in W.W.2. Of course, I was wearing women's undergarments under my uniform.

It's very different from what we've come to expect from Tim Burton, it's not gothic or surreal, Its a very quirky and funny biopic? of Edward D. Wood Jr. the "worst director of all time" who is played brilliantly by Depp. The rest of the cast is great too, particularly Martin Landau, Bill Murray and the very underrated Patricia Arquette. Highly Recommend.
