The Crow

ok technically not the best movie ever, but it is my absolute favorite, so you have to like it too, dammit! and as far as graphic novel to movie goes, alex proyas is right on. way to go buddy
2.
The Nightmare Before Christmas (The Nightmare Before Christmas in Disney Digital 3-D)
PG
one of my all time favorites! but anyone who knows me knows that. here's a fun fact - this is the only disney movie that doesn't have 'walt disney's' at the beginning of the title. way to go for kicking ass, tim burton
3.
Labyrinth
PG
seriously. david bowie and henson muppets and a hell of a lot of imagination. movie magic.
4.
Edward Scissorhands
PG-13
also one of my all time faves. know why? ummm johnny depp and tim burton? man, this is a good one. i don't watch it as much as i should, mostly because it makes me sad. but by saying i don't watch it as much as i should i'm saying i only watch it probably two or three times a month. sooooo . . . . .it's really pretty often
5.
Interview with the Vampire
R
the does a great job of translating the book to film. probably because anne rice did the screenplay. and the cinematography is beautiful. the soundtrack is awesome, and it's fantastically acted. fabulous! . . . oh and of course it's vampires done 'the right way,' which makes me happy
6.
The Goonies
PG
spielburg genious! kids on a pirate treasure hunt? awesome! lots of humor and skeletons, so i'm a happy kid
