Well, i'm big on Asian cinema in general. Kung Fu flicks are my biggest passion though. I have sooooo many it's unreal!
Also, don't add me as a friend unless you've reviewed at least over 200 movies. I'm here to talk about films, nothing else. This isn't a dating web-site!! So people that have no display picture and no ratings won't be added, and will miss out on my greatness! ^_^ |

The Forbidden Kingdom
PG-13
It's about time these two starred in a film together! Yeah so the story is kinda cheesy (ok epicly cheesy!), and it takes itself far to seriously at times. But that's not the point! Your watching it for the enjoyment factor, in which it delivers in spades.
Jackie Chan and Jet Li fans are going to get the most out of this. The two Legends of Chinese cinema could do with being ten years younger, but no one else can do these fight scenes at their ages. Even though we've seen better action movements from them before in past films, it's still at times unbelievable. Mainly the fight between the two, which is by FAR the films stand-out moment and reason enough for paying the admission ticket.
Ok so now for another J+J project. Only this time make it in China, have Yuen Woo-Ping direct, and have a full Asian cast. Because Michael Angarano is dire in this one, and spoils it. The git... ^_^
Kung Fu Panda
PG
I was 'prepared for AWESOMENES', and i got it! How come this hasn't been done before?! Kung Fu? Check. Panda? Check. A Kung Fu Panda?! GENIUS!!
You'll only recognize Jack Black's voice. But Jackie Chan is in there as well! Playing a freaking Kung Fu Monkey!! AWESOMENESS!!!
I'd much rather watch this then Finding Bleeding Nemo. Solid harmless fun. If you don't like it, your boring. Basically. I'd watch it again ANYtime. But then again i'm biased toward anything Kung Fu related. So maybe take a star off if your not like me? Humm.
AWESOMENESS!! (my new fave word now) ^_^

Bored me. It drags along at a snails pace. Nothing really happens and when it does it's nothing to shout about.
The actors are all fine. The problem is with the director. He doesn't let his actors act! The character of Inspector Bun doesn't carry the film as he should and comes across as one dimensional and a bore. Again, it's the directors fault. Argh!! >_<
Jumper
PG-13
A lot of people liked this film. Can't see why myself. It could of been a very 'unique' action film. Instead ends up being predictable and bland.
Meh.
Needs a sequel.

Very average.

Wouldn't watch it again.

Jamie Bell is awful.

Hayden Christensen isn't much better.
Meh.
No plot. No development. Waste.

The Incredible Hulk
PG-13
Waaaayy better than i thought it would be. It's hard to think how the film could be any better given the source material.
A good balance of action as well, which is all choreographed perfectly.
Job well done! It's up there with Spider-Man 2 and Superman Returns in the great Super Hero films. ^_^
3 Iron

Kim Ki-Duk does it again. He manages to capture complex emotions in such a pure, unadulterated manner that by the end of the film his characters become more ethereal, more mysterious than they were in the beginning.
3-Iron is pure poetry in film: a visual, aural and atmospheric treat unlike anything you've ever seen, by one of the greatest masters of world cinema working today. ^_^
