I liked D9 very very much, it had me unexpectedly pleased, I never knew what was I going to get even when I digested the simplicity of the storyline. The editing is so fucking brilliant, 2 words pop into my mind: Acadamy Awards, Im still thinking about those secuences man! and how tight they are! The movie has the documentary-feel all thanks to the camera work and the awsome editing.

You dont have a good story unless their charcters evolve, that is the main point in telling a tale, that something is about to change and that that something is worth telling. Rather than the story itself, a society, a family, a group, an individual always have to get the evolution-treatment and the screenplay just does that. In this case the two main characters get the most of it in a 360 degree spin, they end up being a whole different thing from what they were at the begining, the story is more personal, is more about someone than about something. that is the key, the hero is the heart of this picture. I was expecting an aliens vs humans kind of thing but this movie aint that, is more of a one-human vs society kind of thing, that is why D9 worked out for me, it succeeded my expectations!

¨Emotional, action-packed, thriling, with a great performance by Copley, and with one of the most beautiful last shots in the history of cinema, you would be an IDIOT if you want to skip this one!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha! only the japanese couldve made this AMAZING crap!!!!!!!!!

The best sci-fi movie ever!. Time just makes it better.

"This is where you just simply get on your knees and hail to the screen when the movie is over"...figuratively.
