Lost Boys 2: The Tribe (2008,  R)
Lost Boys 2: The Tribe
I had been looking forward to this movie for years and years. I can?t say I was disappointed, but holy crap has times changed since the original. Lot?s of nudity and cheesy gore. I absolutely loved it! And perhaps that was the point-for us old school fans. I sure wouldn?t recommend it for a teenage audience and I?m pretty sure my mum wouldn?t have let me seen the original when it first came out if it was anything like this one. The only downside was Angus Sutherland-he was a rather annoying head vampire-he talks funny and that annoyed me, definitely not as cool as Kiefer. Also-check out the special features!
5 outta 5, fricken luved it

Penelope (2006,  PG)
Penelope
Cute movie, full of fun colors, and very storybookish. I loved the way Edwards face would express what he was actually feeling when saying something like-will you marry me, and I Do. That was very funny, for some reason. In the end, I think there was probably more depth they could have gone into with the story, but the scenes were lovely and my gal didn?t get bored watching it. She also asked questions throughout which opened up discussions on morals and that kind a thing. So overall it was a very lovely movie.
5 outta 5

WALL-E
Another great Pixar flick! Very emotional movie-happiness, sadness, surprise-I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. I absolutely loved it and so did Ella!
5 outta 5, I definitely recommend you see this one on the big screen.

Get Smart
I enjoyed this film greatly, very funny. My mum watched the original show and she really enjoyed the film. Now I?m impatiently waiting for the August release date on the original series DVD.
5 outta 5 stars, for good old fashioned fun

The Incredible Hulk (2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk
I really enjoyed this one, perhaps because Ed Norton was in it, perhaps not. They did a great job with it as far as I?m concerned and I can?t wait to see Iron Man now because of the ending. Wish I woulda made it to the theatre for that one, oh well.
5 outta 5 stars
