Interesting multiple life-crossing story ala "Magnolia" or "Crash"... But more imaginative and a touch of cool visual experimentation ala "Run Lola Run", "Pi" or "Snatch". Unclear but uplifting.
Beautiful poem about life's passage. A strong woman in a foreign environment like "The Piano", but with a calmer tempo, longer timeframe, opposite nature... and victory of circumstance over will.
Pure Altman... A gritty recreation of the American Northwest on the turn of the century. You can almost transport yourself to what must have been to be in Seattle in those times. Beautifully shot.
On the steps of "24-Hour Party People" & "Being John Makolvich", this movie trully entangles the story with the process of telling it. Designers out there will appreaciate beautiful MK12 info-graphics.
Not a masterpiece of acting (Antwan Patton??) and memorable storyline (bleh)... but is got rythm, dynamic camera play, and fun music to boot. I had a good time (for a while)
Moronic formula storyline! While in the beguinning this could have been a run-of-the-mill action flick, it unravels to badness at every passing minute with implausible plot, bad script, mixed messages
Full of eye-candy, and maybe entertaining for a kid (I saw it with a 7-year-old girl who thought it was quite fun) but somehow it felt quite silly and without acting merit. The oompa-loompas you either found them to be surrealy entertaining or just plain weird (as a cast choice).
