1
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
this movie was the center of my universe when i was 5. I idolized Darth Vader from day one. Just wish Lucas had left it as it was, the flaws made it more endearing and greedo shooting first IS lame.
2
One Crazy Summer (1986,  PG)
One Crazy Summer
One of the few movies I saw in theatre when i was a kid, laughed my ass off, still do! Features Savage Steve Hollands wacky brand of humour & lots of 80s stars.
3
The Blues Brothers (1980,  R)
The Blues Brothers
My fav snl movie it has it all, great comedic performances, great music, great car chases plus it has both country AND western music.
4
Evil Dead 2 (1987,  R)
Evil Dead 2
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell kick ass with an assault of wild camera work, one liners that would give Arnold a semi, gore, and one of the best endings ever.
5
Donnie Darko (2001,  R)
Donnie Darko
Clerks meets Evil Dead set to 80s soundtrack. Also includes a 6 foot demonic bunny that could kick Harvey's ass and Patick Swayze.

Shaun of the Dead (2004,  R)
Shaun of the Dead
If killing zombies and throwing back a few pints with your mates is your idea of a good time this is the movie for u. A very witty comedy/horror that I never grow tired of.
12
Dumb and Dumber (1994,  PG-13)
13
Hong men jue e zhe (Mafia vs. Ninja) (1985,  Unrated)
Hong men jue e zhe (Mafia vs. Ninja)
If u liked Kill Bill you'll love Mafia Vs Ninja!!!! My most favorite cheeseball kung fu flick has it all. Bad overdubbed dialog, cheap outlandish wire fighting, a sly stallone look-a-like, a hitler stash touting samurai, magical ninjas and even a bit of social political commentary. A must see for those who like the kung fu.
14
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968,  G)
2001: A Space Odyssey
This movie is simply amazing. Possibly the greatest ever made it can be a little confusing first time around (apparently Rock Hudson left the premiere screaming "What does it mean!") it becomes better with each viewing. Besides this movie cleared the way for every science fiction movie that followed especially Star Wars.
15
Unforgiven (1992,  R)
Unforgiven
When it comes to westerns Unforgiven is second only to The Good The Bad and The Ugly as far as I'm concerned.
16
The Shawshank Redemption (1994,  R)
17
Falling Down (1993,  R)
Falling Down
HE'S MAD AS HELL AND HE'S NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE! For anyone who has at one time or another gotten sick of all of lifes bullshit and have come close to snapping. So basically anyone can identify with this guy as he snaps and goes on a violent but almost righteous rampage. Invigorating, funny and ultimately very sad.
