Bing and Bergman in a flick about a priest and a nun that's a little preachy at times (pun intended) but it's such a feel good movie it's hard not to like.
Whoopi Goldberg, figure skating and oodles of feminist overtones. I didn't really enjoy it but in all fairness straight middle-aged males aren't exactly it's target audience.
I didn't hate it but boy oh boy every character grated on my nerves horribly even the protagonists, after watching this i felt like punching someone in the face. Repeat viewings will likely improve my overall opinion of it. PS: This movie has a great cast including cameos by Colleen Camp, Carol Kane, Peter Billingsley, Dwight Yoakam and The King Of Kong Steve Wiebe.
The scariest thing in this movie is the weird Octoberfest guy singing for no reason half way thru the film, what's with that?, it was like the wolfman had wondered onto the set of a musical. That silliness aside this is a pretty good monster flick, although I would have prefered Karloff as Big Frank(sorry Bela).
