This is the deepest, darkest, most powerful movie I have ever seen. There is just no way possible to describe this movie. Its so dark, so disterbing on so many levels. Its the only film that if you do not watch it til' the very end, you will be sucked into oblivion and your mind will be lost forever. The actual thought that had to go into thinking of the idea of this movie is just so amazing and mind-bodling. I don't think I will be able to write enough about this movie. The direction this movie has and the pure thought is just amazing. I have to give major props to the director, to be able to write and direct with a mind-set that he had is outstanding. The casting couldn't have been better. You cannot get over the acting in this film. I did not think for one second that anybody in this was acting, I thought that each person was the character. I'm going to compare Jake Gyllenhaal performance to Heath Ledgers Joker in the Dark Knight. He sucked me into his Character and really made me think that his character was dark, demented, and just losing his mind. In ways he is like me. You think that his Character might just be the only one who knows the fate of the world and he is the specially chosen one to tell or keep to himself the horrible tragedy that was going to happen. The ending is just so out of the ordinarry and so random and uncoming that you just have to sit back and tell yourself, WTF?. Then you let it sink in for a second and you relize what just happened and relize the thought that had to be put into what you just saw. I mean it was amazing. The whole movie goes together. Not one scene is forgettable and all scenes are crucial to the plot of the movie. Now I saw the Director's Cut so I don't know what they cut in the regular but I have to say that every scene in this to me was important and just kept me sucked into what was going on. In my mind this film has two plots then slowly and greatly comes together to form one. I will never get over this film and I don't understand how anybody cannot like this movie. It was perfect. Well I do know I think who don't like it, and no offence to them but they just didn't get it. Its a dark movie with so much to offer that I just want everybody to see it. Coraline - There is just so many wonderful things that I can say about this film, its beautiful, creepy, and just down right amazing. I absolutely love this film. It is about time that the director gets his attention since tim burton's nightmare. I thought the animation was awome. The movie is just down right amzazing. Go see it.
