First off the CGI and details in this film are phenominal, the story tells the traditional Classic tale by Charles Dickens and is brought to life superbly by the likes of Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman and Bob Hoskins.

It?s definitely worth seeing this film in 3D if you get the chance, not quite enough popping out of the screen at you moments, but none-the-less a wonderful watch.

The rating for the film is PG, but would have to admit there are a few things there that may scare the really young a little.

This one makes it to 4 stars based purely on the acting. It is a performance driven film as there isn?t so much as a storyline more about a fly on the wall watching of the ins and outs of a couple's relationship.

The content acting-wise was huge and I?m sure quite challenging to both main stars.

Reunited again, are Titanic stars, Winslet, Dicaprio and Bates.

Nothing like I had expected the film to be and yet an intriguing tale of love.

I have to admit I watched this film, knowing nothing about it at all and had I known it was a vampire film, perhaps I wouldn?t have watched it with the same enthusiasm, however this is the most naturally acted Vampire film that I?ve seen to date.

Two fantastic child leads and the storyline came across more like a genuine murder tale.

Slightly stretched out in parts, but most certainly worth the watch. The accompanying music is simply beautiful.

exellent film, a man, enjoying a piecefull day at his countryside home, spots a naked girl in woods behind house, he investigates, and is atacked by a masked man, he runs, and comes across a lab, and generously a lab tec helps him out, and hides him, but what apears to be a time machine, he comes back out, a few hours before. and so begins a great story and plot devices, just like marty in back to the future 2, has to put right, andalso set up events to guide his other self to carry on timeline, and from there a great adventure, great suprises, and not at all complicated, great scenes again seen from other him, filling in all the mysteries, set up before, this grabbed me from beginning to end, with great central performances, the film never gets stupid, or over top, as even though itstime travel, the situations seem real, a superb, film anda exellent suprise

matt damon is exellent as the informant of the piece, letting the f.b.i know of a price fixing scam in his company, and from there getting inway over his head, damon is this film, but some superb direction from soderdberg, using his loose style seen in his films like traffic, the limey and oceans films, the film flys by as we watch damon bumble his way, through plot, and also we learn not all is what it seems, a exellent score, which adds a lot, and nicely set early 90s setting, even scott bacula coming back from the dead, as the f.b.i agent in charge, is exellent to watch, soderdberg has shown with this type of material, a great film can be made

like in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind,we see a world where theres a company specialising in brain work, here taking your soul and storing it, paul giamatti plays himself who takes up procedure when a play hes doing isnt working, and from here goes on a journey, without his soul, trying other souls and of course wanting soul back, but soul is stolen, giamatti is great here, playing up his self a bit, and on his status as not exactly a list, al pacino is the actor whos soul is wanted here, and many more actors after. if anything its not eternalsunshine in greatness down to direction, its not as inventive, but seems to borrow from kauffman, im not sure the sauce material, if its original or based on book, but do see influences, a enjoyable film throughout, especially for giamatti performance, check it out

A brilliantly acted, very down to Earth story depicting realistic activities within the many of the asylums in Ireland during this era. Horrific circumstances that allows women to be treated as prisoners for shaming their families, whilst repenting their sins.

The individual stories of each are tales within a tale and are a harsh reality reflected of the time, where pride is thicker than water!

Hard hitting British Drama at it?s best.

mcgregor and clooney are exellent together, in a interesting war satire, mcgregor is a bored reporter, wanting to get into irak, here through some fate set up earliar, he meets lyn, a former soldier of the first earth betallion, sort of hippy trained andnon lethal techniques, brought into us army in the 80s, hes in irak also, a bit unclear why, sothe two hook up, and go on a adventure, and throughflash backs see how this came to be, a interesting story, possibly true, and in parts funny, clooney reliable as ever, and mcgregor, shock horror good as a american, the story is engageing throughout. with a great cast. bridges, and spacey rounding it off. another great thing and funny thing here. cloney telling mcgregor that they were jedis, and mcgregor once a jedi knight of cours, trying to get a grasp of this concept, makes the film film funnier, just because of the casting ofewen mcgregor, exellent

from the mind of diablo cody, who wrote the really good juno, comes another winning script, amanda seyfield plays a geeky girl, whos has a bit of a crush on her sexy schoolmate played exellently by megan fox, but one night her mate, while making it witha up and coming indieband, disapears into the night, and reapears all bloody and acting rather strange and strangethings happening, she has turned into a demon women, due to the band trying to sacrifice her for fae and fortune, as indie bands do. and now she must feed, prefably on young high school males, now its up to the gekky one to get sence ofall thisand put a stop, to it, or not let her feelings destroy things, like heathers some 20 years before, the script by diablo is razorsharp liketarentino, diablo, has a signiture, and throughout, you see her words comeout, speaking the mind of todays youth, the filmis also a great atempt at teen horror, and although not all out gore, there are some moments, andcertainly the best ofthe bunch these.days. fox and seyfield, play there roles well, and shows foxisjust not a object to look at, andthe band also, tell me dont you think they are inspired by the killers, especially the lead singer. so much crap teen horrors come out these days, its good to se one can come along that has great writing andhorror elements

Trick r Treat interweaves four short tales into a workable feature flick. Not your typical horror film as the story plays on the folklore which surrounds All Hallows Eve. Entertaining in an odd way....
