About Me
Hey, the name's Josh. I'm a short, wacky teenager with a fetish for superheroes. I've been a Christian since I was eight and have grown in Christ a lot since then. I dream of becoming a actor in cinema, television, and theatre. I also plan to become a comic book creator. I hope to someday found my own comic book company rivalling Marvel and DC. I like to think of myself as creative, although I admit to being somewhat strange. I'm homeschooled, have been since kindergarden, and The thought of college petrifies me. Above all, I love my Lord God and hope to change the world.

Basically a poor man's Spy Kids. The special effects, while clearly fake, are satisfactory. But the dialogue is dull, the acting overdone, and the writing poor. The only area of merit is the special effects, which are only worth seeing in IMAX 3D.
The Dark Knight The Dark Knight PG-13 5.0 Stars
Brilliance. There's no words of praise high enough. If ever a superhero film deserved to held on high as an eternal great classic, this is the one. For the simply reason that this is not a superhero film. It's a crime thriller/drama. Batman has never been, nor was he ever ment to be a superhero. He's simply a hero with a little flair. As for the Joker, wow. I never thought anyone could even compete with Jack Nickelson, but Heath Ledger blows his performance out of the water. He's demonic, terrifying, and yet mesmerizing. You can't take your eyes off him, no matter how much you want too. He bloodily carves his way though this film, making even other cinema villian look like a sissy in comparison. This film is the reason they coined the term "must-see", because movies like this come along only once in a lifetime.
The Mutant Chronicles The Mutant Chronicles Unrated 3.5 Stars
An simplistic gory action movie that feels more like a video game. On the other hand, the effecs and set design are good, and the cast is excellent, especially Thomas Jane and Ron Pearlman.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2) Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2) PG-13 4.0 Stars
Guillermo del Toro continues to amaze us with his unsuprased monster-making. The characterization is a little poor, but the visuals are more than enough to make up for it. All-in-all, a great summer blockbuster.
Kung Fu Panda Kung Fu Panda PG 4.0 Stars
I wasn't expecting much from this movie. These are after all the people who broght us Shrek and Madagascar, movies that were popular but frankly dull and witless. But I was pleasantly suprised. They apparantly learned from past mstakes and mixed exciting action with clever humor, instead of relying on their usual toliet jokes.
