This movie has a lot in common with "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Sixth Sense". It has the formers unique atmosphere and imagination and the latter's surprising ending. I predicted the shape of many of the pieces, but not the entire puzzle. And what a picture! If you enjoy movies like "House of Wax" and "Hills Have Eyes", then this is perhaps not the movie for you. This is more of a mystery/thriller for those people that require something more than cheap kills & thrills to be entertained. It kept my eyes glued to the screen from beginning to end with little violence to speak of. Movies in this genre, that are this good, are long and far in between. If you liked the first two movies I mentioned, I can (almost) guarantee that you will like this one.

Wow! It actually met my super high expectations and more. I also think that I'm in love with Ellen Page. Not only is she incredible cute, but is also one of the most promising young actresses around (I recommend watching Hard Candy). This movie is a real gem, a must-see, and the second 5 star rating I've given to movies from 2007. # 2nd Viewing Edit: Still a five star, and I took a lot more notice of the fantastic soundtrack the second time around. I hope Page get's the oscar!
