Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003,  R)
Kill Bill: Volume 1
I hate watching people get sliced and diced... however this film is an exception!

I loved how it turned black and white when it got extremely bloody.

I was so happy to see some animation in this film.
2
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children (2006,  PG-13)
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children
BEST FILM EVER!

Cloud strife...

*wonders off to dreamland*

After watching this film i suddenly became interested in the final fantasy games!

This film is FAB!

WHEEEEEEEE.

I felt like the other characters were not shown enough. *cough* MORE VINCENT AND RENO *cough*

:D A really good film, the fight scenes were great! tifa VS silver haired man was my fav fight! TIFA IS SUPER AWESOME!
3
Princess Mononoke (Mononoke-hime) (1999,  PG-13)
Princess Mononoke (Mononoke-hime)
My all time favourite Studio ghibli film!

The war between man and beast. It was really gory but at the time i didn't think so.

This film had so much meaning behind it. The relationship between the main character and the princess was a true love story.

I thought the ending could have been better because i didn't want to see them two separate into their own paths.

But overall i thought this film was the best studio ghibli film i have ever watched.
4
Hauru no ugoku shiro (Howl's Moving Castle) (2005,  PG)
Hauru no ugoku shiro (Howl's Moving Castle)
This is a great romantic comedy miyazaki fiim.

I didn't want to watch this film at first when i heard about it but, BOY THIS FILM IS GREAT!

I loved the little fire demon! he was so cute!

I never realised it when i was watching the film but the curse put on the main character was to make sophie look how she feels inside. So she looked like an old woman because thats how she felt inside. And when ever she felt she was in love her appearance changed back to her normal age.

Kaze no tani no Naushika (Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind) (Warriors of the Wind) (1984,  PG)
Kaze no tani no Naushika (Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind) (Warriors of the Wind)
REVIEW EDITED: I love the way the main character is eco-friendly ^_^

Although i'm not really a fan of giant bugs with red eyes i thoroughly enjoyed this film.

I watched Nausicaa again, and this time i noticed how cheesy this film is. LoL
But that does not stop me from loving this film.

Mmmm. ^___^
6
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
I think i am now partially deaf.

YES I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING ANYMORE. It was SOOO loud. Okay i'l stop complaining.

This film was SUPER DUPER AWESOME. After watching this film all i could manage to say was "wooooah" i could not put it into words how FREAKING GOOD it was!

BIG SHINY COOL CARS! he he ^_^

The graphics were great, i had not seen any trailers of this movie so when i was going to the cinema i thought i was going to see great big giant plastic robots. Man... i was so wrong. The graphics was perfect, the robots looked real!

This film was HILARIOUS! NO KIDDDING, i choked on my popcorn at one point!

On the way home from the cinema's i kept think the trucks that were driving past me were going to just transform... LOL.

One thing i didn't like about this film was that the robots could talk... that just seemed wrong to me? no? fine i guess its just me that thought it was strange.

The soundtract to this movie was even coool! YES COOOL WITH TRIPLE O! Lots of linkin park XD

This movie a MUST SEE.

Oh one other thing: How did little tiny cars turn into GIANT ROBOTS? where did all the extra bulk come from?

...?

Majo no takkyûbin (Kiki's Delivery Service) (1989,  G)
Majo no takkyûbin (Kiki's Delivery Service)
At first i kept thinking this film was stupid but it was a really good film.

This film portrays witches as nice, kind people.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long) (2000,  PG-13)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long)
Zhang Ziyi!!! WOWEEEE. I love all her films.

Spectacular scenery. Literally breath taking. The music in this film was lovely it made me feel calm and at peace. I've actually got the soundtrack on my ipod XD

The fight scenes were not realistic but that did not put me off.
The scene in which they are fighting on the trees was my favourate part. I kept rewinding and playing over and over again.

Can't enough of this film.
:D
9
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring
It is long... but really good. This is the only film that i can say about it that the film is just as good as the book.

Peter Jackson did the best he could with this film, and he certainly impressed a LOT of people. ^^

13
X-Men (2000,  PG-13)
14
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
Superb film. I dig super hero's ^__^

Yeah spiderman happens to be my fav hero after the X-men. This film was great. The only thing i didn't like about it was the villan. He looked like something out of power rangers.

A green plastic thingymabob.

Also i would have prefered it if james franco(peter parkers best friend) was spidey. I didn't like toby maguire playing the main character... They should have switched it around.

Other than that i loved this film.
15
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
BRILLIANT. Spiderman should have died, he annoyed the heck out of me.

TT___TT they killed my fav character. oh well.

LOL when ever spiderman turned into black spidy he turned all gothic... lol that was funny.

This film didn't make me laugh as much as the first one. Peter parker annoyed me -_- i wanted to kill him so many times.

The ending was great, they were both fighting together... aww how sweet!

The best one out of all three movies,
16
Hellboy (2004,  PG-13)

X-Men: The Last Stand (2006,  PG-13)
19
Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 2
Alright Doc Oct was a much better villan than that green alien thingy. This film made me laugh so much. More than the first one.

I didn't like kirsten dunst in this film. She was just a screaming piece of flesh. In the comic she is supposed to be bold and strong- able to fight for herself.

The movie portrays her as a weak pathetic girl. I don't know about other people, but characters like mary jane piss me off!

Girl, Interrupted (1999,  R)
Girl, Interrupted
WoW. This film is so... moving.

After the film ended, i sat there staring at the screen. Just thinking about what happened.

Ocean's Eleven (2001,  PG-13)
28
Mean Girls (2004,  PG-13)
Mean Girls
My first thoughts:

"Hmmm, are all typical high schools in america like this? Do they all have jocks, cheerleaders, stoners, skaters, punks and drama nerds?"

Pretty good film, made me laugh alot.
It brightens up the mood.

The ending was pretty ridiculous. Actually really ridiculous. But it was not too bad.

Overall an alright film for a chick flick and a good performance by Lindsay Lohan.
29
The Parent Trap (1998,  PG)
The Parent Trap
I can never get bored of this film. Even though it has a crappy ending.

I've always loved this film. Ever since i was a kid!

I don't know if i prefer this version more than the original version.
30
Freaky Friday (2003,  PG)
Freaky Friday
Jamie Lee Curtis may have over done it a little bit playing the teenager. Everything she did was exaggerated. Whereas Lindsay Lohan played the role as the teenager perfectly.

The songs that were sung by the band in this film were really bad. I did not like them one bit.

Overall it was not a bad film. I loved the Chinese women. Their relationship was hilarious.
31
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986,  PG)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Ferris is SO CUTE!

Aww i just wanted to eat him up throughout the film!

Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow (Gekijô-ban Naruto: Daikatsugeki!)
I watched this film before i started watching the anime. This film was good enough to get me interested in the Anime.

The animation was beautiful! And the plot was good. Naruto and Sakura were not annoying in this film ^_^

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005,  PG)
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
Is it me, or was this film REALLY short?

I just started to get into the fim then BAM - The End.

Lol, it was good. I loved it how Tim Burton made the "Dead World"(thats what its called right?) more colourful than the Living World.

^_^
38
Kung Fu Hustle (2005,  R)
Kung Fu Hustle
ROFLOLMAO Seriously funny!

Its a AWESOME movie! Lots of serious butt kicking action. I loved the dance its hilarious.

The love story was so cute!

The only thing about this film that i didnt like was the animation, like when they ran it looked like something out of a cartoon - i did not like that. Other than that FABULOUS FILM!!!

Whoooooo
39
Donnie Darko (2001,  R)
Donnie Darko
0_0

T-th-that rabbit called Frank scared me alot.

I loved this film hilarious at some moments:

"Go suck a fuck"
"what the fuck is suck a fuck?"

"Whats feaces?"
"Little baby mices"
"Awww"

That 80's dance that little girls did was my favourate bit - It was oarzome!!!

The film was odd. Honestly i am still confused about it.

The music was good!
The characters are great Donnie was such a sweetie!!!!!
He had some emotional problems... If emo was something, i'd say Donnie was an emo. A proper one.
40

Fight Club (1999,  R)
48
Juno (2007,  PG-13)
Juno
I was not expecting this film to be this GOOD!
Usually i stay well clear away from teenage pregnancy movies, but after watching this film for 5 mins i was completely drawn into the main character Juno. I loved everything about her!

She's unbelievable cool and considered a weirdo in her school. [I hate how that works, it really annoys me - are American high schools really like that?]

Anyways, overall - a great laugh out loud movie. You should really watch this movie unless you have already.
49
King Kong (2005,  PG-13)
King Kong
I can not understand how some people despise this film?
Really, what's so terrible about it?

I like this version way more than the original not because the other one looked ridiculously fake but because in this film the portrayed the relationship between King Kong and Ann was purely friendship not romantic (well i don't think so) .

One thing about this film that annoyed me were the really long scenes, like the two of them would be looking at each other for ages.

Overall an excellent film. (Didn't make me cry though, i was expecting it to make me cry.)
50
Superman Returns (2006,  PG-13)
Superman Returns
Not my favourite super hero. So i did not think i would enjoy this film.

The aeroplane scene had me clinging to the edge of my seat - That does not usually happen to me.

I liked Lex Luther in this film. Uh huh, he made me laugh. :D

Overall - i'm pretty impressed.
51
Memoirs of a Geisha (2005,  PG-13)
Memoirs of a Geisha
Well, well, well... Looks like i ended up watching the film before reading the book.

Anyways on with the review.

Firstly i'd like to state that before watching this film i never knew what geisha's really were.

Someone (My English teacher) told me they were NOT prostitutes. I thought she was wrong, but in fact she was correct. Geisha?s do not sleep with a dozen men for money. They are partly entertainers, they play music, dance (no not dirty dancing, traditional fan dancing - which in my humble opinion is beautiful >_<!), serve tea (LOL) and lastly they sleep with one OR two men (Only I think). One man pays a HELLOVA lot of money for their virginity, the second man pays to become their Danna - Danna is a guy who pays money for the geisha and other stuff. A Geisha cannot get married unless she gives up her profession. These Geisha?s are seen as celebrities in Japan. It?s like every little girl?s dream to grow up and become a Geisha.
Although the whole Geisha sleeping with men (that they don?t even freaking like) was a big turn off for me I was still able to thoroughly enjoy the film. The outfits were simply amazing (really did deserve the Oscar!), the plot had me hooked from start to finish, the visual beauty was oh-so-wonderful (especially the handkerchief scene), and lastly the sound track was just lovely. Not the best sound track ever but still it was pretty good.

I?ve ever seen Ziyi Zhang speak English. I didn?t even notice she was speaking enlish until twenty minutes after she joined the film, haha I really was geeking out. I think I?d have liked this film more if it was in Japanese?

Michelle Yeoh did a fantastic job as playing Chiyo?s onee sama. *Swoon* She?s such a great actress!

Overall, a superb film! I?m definitely buying the DVD! Woot.
