This is one of my all-time favourite movies. The costumes and props are breathtaking. I love everything about this movie.

Forrest Gump
Touching and inspiring film with Tom Hanks as an excellent Forrest Gump. The acting is moving and the storyline is incredible. I love how Forrest is constantly caught up in critical moments in history and manages to meet three presidents!

Lethal Weapon (1987,  R)
Lethal Weapon
This movie is the epitome of what makes an action comedy. It is so funny and it has so much action and gun fire and explosions. Mel Gibson is awesome.

Thirteen Days (2000,  PG-13)
Thirteen Days
This film is incredible. It is really interesting and thrilling. The cast are excellent at portraying some of the greatest (and some of the most senseless) men in history. The portrayal of John and Bobby Kennedy is flawless and their performances captivated me. The movie pulls you in and re-creates history in front of your eyes. I just loved it.

Casablanca
This film is the eptiome of classic Hollywood and style. Humphrey Bogart as Rick Blaine is outstanding. He is smooth and smouldering. Rick Blaine is probably the ultimate movie good-guy. Casablanca is a drama that is witty, compelling and romantic. A film that will be forever remembered and admired. Here's looking at you, kid.

The Holiday (2006,  PG-13)
The Holiday
One of my favourite movies of all time. This movie is beautiful and magical and lovely. It has an excellent cast who have a believeable on-screen chemistry. The storyline is very enjoyable and sweet and makes me smile everytime I watch it. Hans Zimmer does an extraordinary job on the music and it really adds to the gorgeous atmosphere of the film.

Elizabethtown (2005,  PG-13)
Elizabethtown
Really lovely film with a charming storyline. Kirsten Dunst is great as usual and Orlando Bloom does a surprisingly good job. The support characters are also really funny and sweet. I love the story and I love where it was filmed-it is very beautiful. I just love everything about this movie.

Bird on a Wire
I love this movie..it never gets old. Gibson and Hawn make an ideal couple in this and they really compliment each other. It's a really original action comedy with plenty of witty one-liners and plenty of explosions and guns.

Last Chance Harvey (2009,  PG-13)
Last Chance Harvey
I really enjoyed this movie. It was sweet and funny and had a surprising depth to it. Emma Thompson shines on the screen and her character is really lovely. Dustin Hoffman is very sweet in his role and gives a memorable performance like always. Very good.

Such a lovely and beautiful movie by Baz Luhrmann. God I adore him. This movie is glittery and fun. The storyline is touching and the dance scenes are great.

This movie is excellent. The storyline is intriguing and the acting is very believable and amusing. I thought the film was very funny, sweet and engaging. It also left me a bit teary. It starts off slow, but something about it just captivated me - the soundtrack is amazing as well.

Serendipity
One of my most favourite movies. I adore this movie so much, its full of hope and magic. Beckinsale and Cusack are perfect for each other in this, I could watch this over and over. I love the simple ending, its wonderful.

The Virgin Suicides (2000,  R)
The Virgin Suicides
This is one of my favourite movies. It is beautiful and haunting and stays true to the excellent book. This film, like the book, is romantically dark and whimsical. Sofia Coppola is a true individual and very original, I love her work. The music, settings, actors and soundtrack are all perfection.

Romeo + Juliet (1996,  PG-13)
Romeo + Juliet
Beautiful film with lovely acting and gorgeous sets. This film is colourful and wonderfully filmed. The soundtrack is unbelievable and blends perfectly with the movie. Claire Danes and Leo DiCaprio have a really believable on-screen chemistry and they share some really gorgoeus scenes. Perfect.

Shanghai Knights
I think this movie is possibly the funniest movie I've seen. It's an even better sequel, with better martial arts scenes and funnier one-liners. Owen Wilson cracks me up.

I love this movie so much. It depicts family life in a way that is real and believeable. The characters are interesting to watch and the storyline is extremely touching and funny. Abigail Breslin is such a talented young actress.

This would have to be one of my most favourite love stories. I fell in love with Robert Downey Jr because of this film...everything about this movie is great!

The Mummy
I love this movie so much I know nearly every line off by heart. A great story, with great acting and hilarious one-liners. This is an action comedy at its best.

Zombieland (2009,  R)
Zombieland
One of the best movies I've seen all year. It hit the mark perfectly and had a really fun plot. It was freaking hilarious! Woody Harrelson is so funny as Tallahassee and Jesse Eisenberg is genius. Love it!!
