Is not a movie from my childhood but is just so good. You definetely feel everything the movie want you to feel. All the action and all the little boys trying to find something bigger than them to help their family. Is a very special movie and even today they couldn't make any children's movie like this one. |

one of the cuttest movies i've ever seen. it's so special in so many ways and everybody can be related to at least one of the characters. is been a long time since a family on movies or tv shows makes us love them like this one. i'm pretty sure everyone should watch this movie and everyone would take a good lesson out of it. cause this is a personal movie to everyone and touchs you in your own sweet way. |

Slumdog Millionaire (2008, R)
I really liked. The whole movie was very good and dinamic. It was a mix of emotions that in one hour I cried, laugh tons and still got angry. The movie turned out different then I expected since I read a bunch of reviews thar said something like a fairy tale or not that good but it was beyond my expectations and I loooved the dance scene in the ending. Plus, almoust all of the characters were good and made me like and care about them. |
|
| 224 |
The Prestige (2006, PG-13) |
|
| 225 |
Milk (2008, R)
It's amazing how a movie can touch people. Not only because this is a real story but everything behind it and we can all see ourselves now and feel what they been through in the 70's. Is a great movie about a great group of people who weren't scared of what they were. Is a Gus Van Sant's master piece. |
|
| 226 |
He's Just Not That Into You (2009, PG-13)
Is a movie that you won't expect much besides the great cast in it. Based on a book, that I haven't read yet, it's a romantic comedy about tons of couples and how they get to know each other in their daily lives. Is touching, is not different but it's good for the soul. I liked and it is a girly movie from one of the bests and one that you can watch again and again. |
|
| 227 |
Atonement (2007, R) |
|
| 228 |
Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008, R)
I have to agree with one of my friends comments where they said is had been a while since they laughed in a comedy and I agree. It was really funny as any Kevin Smith's movie but this was way beyong plust Seth Rogen was amazing as always. Justin Long's character was hilarious. Loving comedy where you can watch it again and again. Need to buy the dvd, btw. |
|
| 229 |
The Reader (2008, R)
I just watched and I still can't figure it out everything the movie wanted me to understand. It is a really sad, touching, beautiful, melancholic movie. Kate Winslet is amazing as Hanna and Ralph/David were just as good as David. It is a sad love story where a series of events never let this couple, that probably wouldn't work out, together for more than one summer. How time can make it a lot of things pass but some are impossible not to remember. One of the best movies I saw this year so far. |
|
| 230 |
Shopgirl (2005, R)
As Ray Porter watches Mirabelle walk away he feels a loss. How is it possible, he thinks, to miss a woman whom he kept at a distance so that when she was gone he would not miss her. Only then does he realize that wanting part of her and not all of her had hurt them both and how he cannot justify his actions except that... well... it was life. |
|
| 231 |
But I'm A Cheerleader (2000, R)
Megan: [to Graham] One, two, three, four, I won't take no anymore. 5,6,7,8 - I want you to be my mate. 1,2,3,4 - you're the one I adore. 5,6,7,8 - don't run from me cause this is fate. |
|
| 232 |
Charlie Bartlett (2007, R)
It's a highschool movie different from the others. Is what we all wanted to be when we're on school and it's a pretty good movie but I do have a crush on school movies tough, haha. |
|
| 233 |
The Silence of the Lambs (1991, R)
This is one of the movies I always wanted to see. From all the movies related to Hannibal Lecter it's the main one and the one I never watched. It's an interesting story about a serial killer, I mean, two and their behavior and the whole journey of a FBI student trying to catch him. |
|
| 234 |
Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009, PG)
Being a fan of the books and Isla Fisher I really wanted to watch it when I saw they were making the movie. The book is the first of a series that talk about Rebeca Bloom a shopaholic that has problems with every part of her life except for the shopping. In the movie, and first book, she gets a new job on a finances magazines, that for a shopaholic is really ironic, and the fact of being in love for her boss and screw her friendship with her best friend. |
|
| 235 |
X-Men Origins - Wolverine (2009, PG-13)
Being a big Marvel's fan it's impossible for me not to watch a super hero movie especially when it's part of the x-men history. After Batman, X-Men is probably the smartest super hero movie I've seen and Wolverine is the main character. With a huge cast and a huge history is definitely another part from the story. The plot is about Logan's life and how he handles his 'powers' and how he gets them from his childhood until being an adult. |
|
| 236 |
Nights in Rodanthe (2008, PG-13)
The only reason why I watched this movie was Nicholas Sparks. His books are always so touching and the movies aren't bad either. It's a romantic story about a doctor that has his ego bigger than anything else and a lonely divorced woman that lives for his children. When she takes care of her friend's inn for a weekend with the only guest they start to get envolved and fall in love. It's a really sweet movie and very romantic. |
|
| 237 |
Star Trek (2009, PG-13)
For me that I never saw any movies or episodes of the tv shows and the only thing I knew about Star Trek was the story and some actors that were part of it, was amazing. It's more than 2 hours of tons of information and yes, the only problem is that for newbies like me it gets confusing and tiring sometimes but the action scenes and the whole dialogues are epic. |
|
| 238 |
Dan in Real Life (2007, PG-13)
Different from what I expecting I had a good surprise with the movie. It's no different from the general itself but is touching, romantic and sweet. Is one of the movies I wanna watch again and again cause you will always connect with at least one of the characters are going through. The story about a father of 3 daughters that meet his brother's girlfriend and fall in love in a family reunion is really unoriginal but the family, cast, itself changes the whole movie. It's all about the actors that made this family worth watching. |
|
| 239 |
Gran Torino (2009, R)
One of the few directors that makes me wanna watch all of his movies. This in particular is very special and probably one of my favourites, if not the favourite that he directed. It tells a history about a war vet called Walt Kowalski that after an event starts to get closer to his neighbor a young Hmong, Thao. |
|
| 240 |
The Bridges of Madison County (1995, PG-13)
I knew it was a classic and I knew I was probably going to like it but I never tought that I would be so touched and familiar with the story. I could say a lot of things about this love story but honestly, if you are reading this and haven't watched yet. Do it. Do it cause it will probably change something inside of you. |
|
| 241 |
Wristcutters - A Love Story (2007, R)
The movie it's about there three people meet and become friends and start a journey where each one of them have something they wanna look for and they learn more that they could ever imagine. It would be a very comun story if they weren't suicidals in a place only for people who commited suicide. It's not dramatic at all and actually it's a very positive story where you always can have a second chance. It's a movie I've wanted to see in a very long time because I tought it was really original and yes, I wasn't wrong plus the movie is really well done and the cast is great. I can put this movie in a category where you watch it, feel their pain, start loving the characters and when it's ends you have a big smile on your face. |

WALL-E (2008, G)
Pixar never made a bad movie and this is one of their best if not the best. Wall-E is amazing. I don't have a lot of words to describe it but everyone should watch it and this is a reason why animations these days have more public than the usual movies. They are just so.. simple and unique and impossible to forget. |

The Wrestler (2008, R)
Not my favourite type of movie and by far not my favourite actor but Mickey Rourke was amazing in the movie. Not only because it tells his story but because he's finally back into real acting. He directed Darren Aronofsky tell a story about Randy ''The Ram'' Robinson and he trying to get back in his tracks wrestling and resolving all his problem with his own ghosts, his daughter, his girlfriend and everything he may go through. Amazing movie, really unique and with some great wresteling scenes that you have to close your eyes to not get sick.. but you can't. Can't not love it and forget it. |

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008, R)
I'm fan of Judd Apatow and all the things he writes/directs/produces so yeah, this is definitely a good movie. An awesome comedy that made me laugh loud and with hilarious scenes and still it's a very cute movie. Kristen Bell, Jason Segel and Mila Kunis but for me Russel Brand was the star. I never tought he could act or be that funny! For now this is the best comedy movie I've seen this year. |

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009, PG)
Probably the most non-action movie from all 6 but it's definitely worth the whole story. It can be more teenager than the rest and focus on their relationships with each other different from the last ones where they only focus on the battle agains Voldemort. This chapter of the story it's the beginning of the end and a very beautiful one. |

Fanboys (2008, PG-13)I was expecting a lot from this movie because the plot is so unique and I love the actors. I tought it was so funny, so sarcastic and with some genius takes from nerds that only the ones that actually understand laugh. It's not a movie for a very big public but it's worth watching. I tought it was exactly what I was expecting and I wasn't disappointed like most of people was. One of my personal favourites. |

Pride and Prejudice (2005, PG)
Mr. Darcy: Miss Elizabeth. I have struggled in vain and I can bear it no longer. These past months have been a torment. I came to Rosings with the single object of seeing you... I had to see you. I have fought against my better judgment, my family's expectations, the inferiority of your birth by rank and circumstance. All these things I am willing to put aside and ask you to end my agony. |

Adventureland (2009, R)
Nothing new but it's definitely one of those so-called ''indie'' movies right now. Great performances and actually Kristin Steward shows she can act different from the ''Twilight'' series, Ryan Raynolds in another not so big appearance that is worth the movie. All the other actors in some well know and they can definitely pull it off. The movie has a very sweet story, something you can relate to, and it's always fun to look back in the 80's. |

Where the Heart Is (2000, PG-13)
Simple, beautiful and very touching. The first reason why I watched this movie was Natalie Portman. She looks amazing there and not only her but everyone. It has a very beautiful story and very realistic too. Much more than you can hope for the plot of the movie, this was definitely a good discover. A movie I wanna watch it again and again & in fact it touches your heart. |

Revolutionary Road (2008, R)
With good dialogues, quotes and an amazing chemestry this movie is definitely a piece of work. Being first just an avarage movie it's a story that you can relate, a story that is just so simple and once you start watching you thinkg 'I know someone like them/I am her'. It's easy to relate to, it's easy to enjoy and the performances were just mind blowing. |

I Love You, Man (2009, R)
I know I shouldn't say my opinion because I am a big fan of the whole Judd Appattow crew and every comedian that is part of it. It's impossibl not to laugh. It's just hilarious and silly at the same time but I must say the part I did laugh loud was the couple that Jaime Pressly and Jon Favreau were. |

The Shawshank Redemption (1994, R)
I nevr tought a movie with such cliche description could be so good. It's so soft, with a great story and a very good script. Some things are obvious but the way it comes out at is what makes it all different. That tons of good actors obsviouly helps, I must admit and it probably wouldn't be the same without them but anyway, a very nice choise. I recommend. |

(500) Days of Summer (2009, PG-13)
Many people were saying it was a romantic comedy but I already went to watch thinking it was a drama movie. I was right. There is nothing funny about it. Is real, direct and it hurts because you once were one of the two characters or both of them. It makes you feel nostalgic and is really easy to relate with them. The movie you watch to cry yourself out, to make you feel even worse, is one of those movies you will quote from time to time or just remember once you're feeling blue. |

Jennifer's Body (2009, R)
From the beginning the new scrip of Diablo Cody was based on the trash b movies and it was supposed to be stupid, and it did worked. The beginning till the end the movie is just full of cliches, sometimes so ridiculous you can't even believe that is happening but with some good quotes. I liked because I wasn't expecting nothing besides this. Actually it made me laugh a lot. My main reason to watch was Amanda's character that is actually very sweet. At least Amanda can act. You know those movies you watch tons and tons of times because it just makes you kill time, sucks but you actually enjoy it? |

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009, PG-13)
For those who are fans or for those who aren't everyone has the same tought about this story: boring. The movie couldn't be different. WIth the book sucking it was hard for the movie be anything better. In terms of direction it was definitely superior. A lot of flaws from the first movie were corrected on this one and the soundtrack it was amazing. I don't know how they got so many amazing artists. Anyway, the movie is basically Jacob without shirt, Bella sad and no Edward. Not only the fans but those who watched only for curiosity left disappointed and I'm sure on this group. |
