Harold and Maude (1971,  PG)
Harold and Maude
The funniest, sweetest, most touching and relatable film ever made! Ruth Gordon and Bud Cort have incredibly good chemistry together and make these characters come to life as no one else could have possibly done. Cat Stevens music also elevates every scene.
2
Sleepaway Camp (1983,  R)
Sleepaway Camp
Okay, I just can't stop watching this film. This is better than so many other slasher films and it has it's reasons:
1.- Obviously, the ending. But not only the shocking resolution, but the last shot of the film is one of the creepiest I have ever seen.
2.- The killer doesn't conform with slicing and dicing, but rather looks for other ways to end the victim's lives. So creative, in fact, that only one death has something of blood in it.
4.- Talking of deaths, the curling iron.
5.- Judy, the megabitch in this film. She's so deliciously evil, she could face any Heather and win.
6.- Aunth Martha. I don't know what her deal is or how her brain functions, but she's awesome and thanks to her, there's a Sleepaway Camp.

Cría Cuervos (Cria!) (Raise Ravens) (1976,  Unrated)
Cría Cuervos (Cria!) (Raise Ravens)
I know this film achieves so many more wonderful things, but right now I just can't stop thinking about Ana Torrent, without a doubt the best child actress ever. She looks just like a child, with her constantly expressionless face, but if you look just close enough in her eyes you'll find the torment and confusion her character is always in.

Days of Heaven (1978,  PG)
Days of Heaven
Stunningly beautiful. I cannot express enough how perfect every single frame is.
5
How To Get Ahead in Advertising (1989,  R)
How To Get Ahead in Advertising
This is a hilarious movie, excellent satire and has a great performance by Withnail himself, Mr. Richard E. Grant. This is something I can kinda relate to in a way because I'm a marketing student and eventually I will have a figurative boil on my shoulder when my different sides clash. Truly an exceptional movie not to be missed.
6
Showgirls (1995,  NC-17)
Showgirls
THE best bad movie ever! Elizabeth Berkley is so completely inept at acting, dancing and stripping it is absolutely hilarious, especially in the pool scene. Nice to see that after so many years the film keeps its (unintentional) humor.
