The Breakfast Club (1985,  R)
The Breakfast Club
So this movie's a little cheesy, and the characters are not entirely believable. With that said, it's still one of the most enjoyable teen movies I've ever seen. John Hughes delivers this movie much in the same fashion as his others, which is why it's so great! The man knew what he was doing, the script is hilarious and all the actors manage to pull off their characters. Although I wouldn't say it's actually a film people can relate to, it does offer a little something for everybody. Definitely one of my favourites!

P.S. I Love You (2007,  PG-13)
P.S. I Love You
This movie was so sad and so beautiful. You fell instantly in love with Gerard Butler's character even though you knew that he was gone already. The flashbacks in the film really helped to set the mood and I thought Harry Connick Jr. added some comic relief to the mix.
37
Heathers (1988,  R)
Heathers
"Teenage suicide don't do it!" Okay so I know suicide isn't supposed to be funny, and we're not supposed to cheer on those who are clearly sick and entirely twisted. Needless to say this dark comedy breaks all the rules of the typical 80's teen movie and quickly found its place as one of my all time favourite movies. Amazing acting and a fantastic script make it one to watch for sure!
38
Juno (2007,  PG-13)
39
The Halloween Tree (1993,  Unrated)
The Halloween Tree
I've watched this movie every October since it came out. I think it's wonderful, eerie and almost more sophisticated for a children's movie. Mounshroud and the Narrator have some pretty wonderful lines.

The United States of Leland (2004,  R)

When Harry Met Sally
I put off watching this movie for years because I just couldn't see myself liking Billy Crystal as a romantic lead. Finally I got around to watching it and it has now become my favourite romantic comedy. It's absolutely hilarious, smart, romantic, and entirely entertaining. Billy Crystal definitely managed to win me over.
