1
Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark) (1981,  PG)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark)
The best movie ever. Action, comedy, adventure, romance. Can't go wrong. Still stands up to action movies today. A classic. My number one film pick of all time. Harrison Ford is excellent as Indiana Jones. I could not see anyone else playing this role. Steven Spielberg directs a classic. Plus one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever by composer John Williams. This film has it all. A must see for everyone. A classic.
2
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
One of the best Sci-fi movies out there. Still a classic. One of my all time favorites. This was one of the first films I saw as a child. Right from the begining to the end I never have got bored watching this film over and over. From the classic characters Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, C-3PO, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Darth Vader have always been some of my favorites since I was a child. This set the bar for future Sci-fi films and how movies are made today. By far George Lucas best directed film. Plus the musical score alone is what helped make the film as well. John Williams in my eyes is the greatest composer for film. Plus the special effects still stand the test of time. One of the best movies ever made.
3
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989,  PG-13)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
A great third film in the Indiana Jones movie series. Harrison Ford is excellent as Indiana Jones as usual. Sean Connery is also excellent as Indiana's father. This film has action, romance, mystery, humor and fantasy. One of the best films of all time. Just as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Temple of Doom. Great to see characters like Marcus Brody and Sallah in this film. And composer John Williams still brings us a great soundtrack to this series. Steven Spielberg brings us a classic. A must see. One of my all time favorite films. A classic.
4
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984,  PG)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
This is one of the best sequels ever made. Just as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark. Harrison Ford is outstanding once more as Indiana Jones. I can never see anyone else play this role. Steven Spielberg directs another classic. I am glad they took a different direction with this story instead of having Indiana Jones fight Nazis again. Plus the addition of sidekick Short Round gave us great character in the world of Indiana Jones. Even though this is a sequel to Raiders the story actually takes place before the first film in this series. One of my all time favorite films. A must see. A classic.
5
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
This has to be one of the greatest Sci-fi and sequels to film. I always debate with myself if this or a New Hope is my all time favorite Star Wars film. Even though New Hope was the first movie I ever saw as a child I find Empire Strikes back a much better film. A much darker film. The film has action, adventure, romance, tragedy, great characters and great F/X. Han Solo was my favorite all time Star Wars character but with Boba Fett a close second after watching this film as a kid. Plus the villains basically win in the end of this film. I am amazed that George Lucas never let Irvin Kershner direct Return of the Jedi after such a great job on this film. This film will always be one of my all time favorites.
6
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
What a great film to end the Star Wars series with. One of my favorite all time movies. I never get bored watching this film. A classic film. The story and the special effects just got better with this film. Some people never liked the ewoks in this but I didn't mind. Gave some comic relief to the film. I know they have altered the ending to the film a bit since the 80's. But I have both versions so I can watch either one. A great story with great action. A must see. One of the great Sci-fi films and series ever made.
7
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
A great Batman movie. Was the best Batman movie untill the Dark Knight came out. Bale is the best Batman. Very dark film. One of my favorite movies. Christopher Nolan stays true to the character and very close to the comics I have enjoyed reading over the years. This film will be in the top ten super hero movies of all time.
8
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008,  PG-13)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
This was a great film. It was worth the wait for me. Great to see how Indy has changed over the years. Good story, great action and effects. Also had a good ending to the Indy chapter. Worth watching multiple times. Harrison Ford has not lost his touch potraying Indiana Jones. Spielberg directs us another classic Indiana Jones film. Plus great to see Karen Allen back in this film as Marian Ravenwood. Some people may not like this new film. But it delivers as usual with action, adventure, romance, mystery, comedy and a great story. A must see.
9
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring
Lord of the Rings is the best fantasy movie ever made. Very close to the books. The Ring Wraiths are just how I pictured them. Also the casting of Ian McKellen as Gandalf was awesome. He looked and sounded the part of Gandalf when ever I read the books. In fact the entire cast did great in their roles. You can tell that director Peter Jackson was a fan of the books with the care he took to make these films. One of my all time favorite films.
10
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers
Lord of the Rings is the best fantasy movie ever made. Very close to the books! Love the battle scene in this one. You can tell that Peter Jackson was a fan of the books since he tried to stay true to the books. The entire cast did a marvelous job in their roles. A classic film.
11
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2003,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
One of the best fantasy movies ever made. Had a great cast and great special affects. Loved the books and the movie was very close to the them. Peter Jackson was the perfect choice to direct these movies. A great end to the triliogy. A classic film.
12
X2 (2003,  PG-13)
X2
The best movie of the X-Men trilogy! Hugh Jackman is the perfect actor for Wolverine. I'm a fan of the X-men comics and this movie stayed true to the original material. The X-men movie must be a hard movie to make since there are so many characters to focus on. But Bryan Singer does a perfect job in this as he did in the first film.
13
Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 2
A great superhero movie! Doc Ock rocked! I like the sequel more than the original. Again Tobey Maguire does a excellent job as Peter Parker and Spider-Man.Alfred Molina was a perfect casting choice as Doctor Octopus. SamRaim brings us another great movie with his direction. Overall this has been the best of all the Spider-Man movies.
14
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
One of the best super hero movies out there! Great adaptation on a great comic hero. Toby Macguire played Peter Parker perfect. Green Goblin was a perfect choice as the first villain in this film. You could tell that Sam Raimi is a fan of Spider-man and stayed true to the characters. A classic.
15
Mallrats (1995,  R)
Mallrats
My favorite film by director Kevin Smith. Brodie is my hero. This movie is very funny. It has crude humour but is done well. This movie has many classic lines and scenes. Jay and Silent Bob shine in this film. A great young cast. Plus Stan "The Man" Lee makes a cameo. I never get bored watching this film. Always get a good laugh. One of my favorite comedies.
16
Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
This was a excellent movie. I was afraid they would make a horrible film on one of my favorite marvel super hero's. Great casting of Robert Downey as Tony Stark. He was great in this film. The movie stayed true to the Iron Man comics with a updated twist. Graphics were also great. Great blend of action, comedy and drama. Plus a sneak peak at the end of the credits of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. One of my favorite movies now.
17
The Boondock Saints (1999,  R)
The Boondock Saints
This is a very good movie. More of a cult hit. Sort of like Punisher meets Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. This is one of those film you either like or dislike. For me I liked it. The crazy characters to the crazy way the action scenes are shot. David Della Rocco character was funny in this. Overall I enjoyed the whole film.
18
Snatch (2001,  R)
Snatch
This is a great movie. My all time favorite Brad Pitt performance. It is hard to understand what he is saying throughout the film. You have to watch it a few times to understand what he says in the film. Almost feels like a sequel to Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. A great crime comedy. Guy Ritchie agains directs a great film and mixes up the comedy with the gritty violence and crime very well. A great cast once more for Ritchie to work with. Some great visual shots in the film. I really enjoyed the Brad Pitt boxing match scene with the Oasis song "Fuckin in the Bushes" as the background music. That was a well shot scene. Overall I enjoyed the film and never get bored watching it. A classic film.
19
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1999,  R)
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Funny, British action comedy. A cult classic. Has a great cast. Right from the begining to the end of the film I had good laugh. It is one of those stories that you could believe would happen to a group of friends if they could pull off a heist. You know things will go wrong for this group but you hope through out the film they pull it off. Guy Ritchie blends comedy with the darkness of the story quite well. Vinnie Jones surprised me how good he was in this film. He played his role excellent. In fact I was quite impressed with the entire cast in this. The only down side to this film for some may be understanding the accents. I had no problem. It was just the lingo I had to understand. Overall a great film.
20
Casino Royale (2006,  PG-13)
Casino Royale
This is a excellent James Bond Film. Daniel Craig is outstanding as Bond. Seems to take the role seriously and takes elements from the previous actors who played Bond. Awesome action sequences. Plus a great story. Now among my favorite movies.
21
GoldenEye (1995,  PG-13)
GoldenEye
A great James Bond Film! Pierce Bronson's best bond film. One of my favorite Bond films. It was great to see Bond back better than ever since the 80's. This film has a great story and supporting cast. Plus the action scenes are awesome in this film. Pierce Bronson was the perfect casting choice for the new Bond. One of my all time favorite films.
22
Dr. No (1962,  PG)
Dr. No
The first in the James Bond series! A classic! One of my all time favorite Bond films. Sean Connery set the stage for future Bond actors. Dr.No is a great villain in this. The movie doesn't go over the top for me. I liked the way the story flowed and had enough action to entertain me. Plus the Ursula Andress famous bikini scene will always be sketched into my mind. A must see for any Bond fan.
23
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997,  PG-13)
Tomorrow Never Dies
A classic James Bond film. The second best Bond movie that Pierce Bronson did. Great action scenes and great story. Can never go wrong with this film if your looking for a great action movie.
24
A View to a Kill (1985,  PG)
A View to a Kill
This is the first Bond movie I ever saw when I was a child. I loved it. From the James Bond main theme music that had me hooked to the great Duran Duran song that followed. That song is still great to listen to today. My favorite Bond film from Roger Moore. The film was a fast pace non stop action movie with great gadgets, beautiful women, to some great action scenes. Christopher Walken and Grace Jones were excellent in the roles as the main villains. A must see film for Bond and action movie fans.
25
Patriot Games (1992,  R)
Patriot Games
Harrison Ford was the best Jack Ryan! Never get bored watching this film. Sean Bean plays the perfect villian out for revenge. Great action and a great cast for this film. My favorite of the Jack Ryan series of films.
26
Clear and Present Danger (1994,  PG-13)
Clear and Present Danger
A great sequel to Patriot Games. Harrison Ford played the best Jack Ryan. He is excellent in this film. The film has a great story and cast. Very well done. One of my favorite films.
27
Saving Private Ryan (1998,  R)
Saving Private Ryan
One of the best war movies out there. Great cast. Great story. Spielberg delivers another classic film. This may not be a true story but some of the battles and events are based on true events. I think Tom Hanks gives a all star performance in this film. A classic film and a must see.
28
Force 10 from Navarone (1978,  PG)
Force 10 from Navarone
One of my all time favorite WWII based films. A sequel to Guns of Navarone. I liked this film more than the original. It is a great adventure war film. Harrison Ford and Robert are both great in this. The film has a good story and solid action. Plus great characters. Just a pure fun film to watch. One of my favorites. A classic.
29
Happy Gilmore (1996,  PG-13)
Happy Gilmore
This is my all time favorite Adam Sandler film. The character Happy Gilmore was great. He still held the NHL record of stabbing someone with his skate. Funny. Sure there is some crude humor in this but it works. I never get bored watching this film. I always get a good laugh. Love the Bob Barker fight scene to the evil golfer Shooter McGavin. A classic comedy.
30
Billy Madison (1995,  PG-13)
Billy Madison
This is a Adam Sandler classic. Oh that Veronica Vaughn. My second favorite Adam Sandler film. Great laughs every time I watch this film. Sure the film has crude humour but I enjoyed it. A mindless comedy that I always get a laugh from when I watch it.
31
X-Men (2000,  PG-13)
X-Men
Great movie. A great introduction to the X-Men franchise and for people not familiar to the comic. I am a huge X-men comic fan and waited years for this film. It did not disappoint me. Hugh Jackman was the perfect choice as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Bryan Singer stayed true to the comics origins and spirit. A great story and casting job in each role. Not as big of a budget as X2 was but the story and characters made this a great superhero film.
32
Hellboy (2004,  PG-13)
Hellboy
A really good action sci-fi movie. I never read the comic books untill I saw this movie. The movie made me want to read the books. Ron Perlman was a perfect casting choice for Hellboy. The story right down to the villains and action were great. Now among one of my favorite movies.
33
Payback (1999,  R)
Payback
Who ever said revenge and crime would be easy. Mel Giibson plays a criminal named Porter out to get his money that is owed to him and revenge. Porter may be a scum bag but a likeable scum bag. He does have some sense of honor and loyalty. Mel Gibson is great in this role. A film with a great story and great characters. A great supporting cast throughout the film. A great action crime film.
34
Back to the Future (1985,  PG)
Back to the Future
A classic Sci-fi film from the 80's. My favorite film by Michael J. Fox. The story and the strong F/X is what helped make this a great film. Plus with great performances from Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, Thomas F. Wilson as Biff and Crispin Glover and Lea Thompson as Marty's parents made this a great film. This film is one of my favorites and will always be the best in the triliogy.
35
The Last Starfighter (1984,  PG)
The Last Starfighter
One of my favorite Sci-Fi movies as a kid. Still holds up today! Sure some of the F/X could be better by today's standard. But this film had a great story and the cast did a great job in their roles to make you believe this was actually happening. I classic film from the 80's.
36
Clerks (1994,  R)
Clerks
Great first film for Kevin Smith. Though I still prefer Mallrats. This movie help set the continuing story of characters in the other films. The entire film is shot in black and white. But it helped with the look and the feel of the film. With the two great lead characters Dante and Randal it helped make the film. It seemed like you were just watching a typical day for a store clerk that ended up blowing up in his face. No real action in the film unless you count the hockey game above the store. Kevin Smith is great with characters and dialouge and it shows in this film. A lot of pop culture references and crude jokes that people may not get or like. But overall this is a great film.
37
The Wrong Guy (1997,  PG-13)
The Wrong Guy
A very funny movie! If you like Kids in the Hall then you will like this film. Dave Foley is very funny in this. Taken bits right from the fugitive it is almost a spoof. You have to love the cop who is after the killer but is so lazy and wasting time on bad leads. A favorite comedy of mine to watch. Well worth a watch.
38
Crocodile Dundee (1986,  PG-13)
Crocodile Dundee
The best of the entire series of Crocodile Dundee films. This was one of my favorite films as a kid and I still enjoy it today. Paul Hogan is great in this. A great story with great shots of the Australia outback. A 80's classic.
39
Face/Off (1997,  R)
Face/Off
One of my favorite action movies! My favorite directed film by John Woo. This is a must for any action film fan. They blend a strong story with great action scenes through out the film. Travolta and Cage are outstanding in this. Travolta and Cage both play a great villain in Castor Troy. A must see.
40
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005,  PG-13)
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Best of the three new Star Wars movies. Answers questions for long time Star Wars fans.Great to see the planet where Chewbacca was from. Great affects and loved the battle scenes between Yoda and Palpatine and Obi-wan and Anakin. Sure I wish Lucas went in a different direction sometimes with the new films but overall I enjoyed them. These films will never compete with the originals but are still well done.
41
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Episode II is a much better improvement to episode I. I liked episode I but I found this film much more darker. I really enjoyed the Jango Fett character and the Boba Fett origin. Plus the Jango fett and Obi-wan fight scene was great. But I think they killed Jango Fett to early in the series. They should have waited for episode III for his death. Much like episode I should have waited for Darth Maul to die in episode III. Nice to see Yoda get a fight scene in this. They story is good overall and answers some questions for me about how Palpatine got some of his power. Overall a good Star Wars film.
42
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Not as good as the originals but I still like it. I just wish they didn't kill Darth Maul in this film. They should have waited till episode three. But overall not bad. I myself am with the group of people who did not like Jar Jar Binks as a character in the film. I don't hate the character but found him not neccessary for the film. Plus I didn't like Qui Jon Jin explanation of the force. But I still watch this film over and over. Sure it has a few flaws but I still enjoy it.
43
In the Name of the Father (1993,  R)
In the Name of the Father
A really good movie based on true events. Daniel Day Lewis and Pete Postlethwaite are excellent in this. I was never aware of this story untill I saw this film. I read more on it after watching the film. A great film about injustice and the human spirit through to keep fighting. A film that actually strikes different emotions though out the film. A must see.
44
The Fugitive (1993,  PG-13)
The Fugitive
A great movie adapted from a television show. Harrison Ford at his best. Tommy Lee Jones is excellent as the US marshal. Great mystery and action scenes in this film. Harrison Ford and cast made this one of my favorite films.I never get bored watching this film. A classic movie.
45
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
This was a good movie. Good story and great action. Great acting all around. James Franco was very good as the villian/good guy. The Sandman(Flint Marko) was also well done. Sami Rami did a excellent job directing this. You can tell he is a fan of the characters. And Toby Maguire again plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man perfect. My only dislike would be the way they used Venom in this. This villain has so much more potential to be used in a big film as this. But other than that I really liked the film.
46
The Incredible Hulk (2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk
Best Hulk film yet. Great mix of action and character plot. They blended both well. Great job by the cast. Fan boys should be pleased with hints to the Leader being born at the end. Plus a Tony Stark cameo and mention of the Super solider serum(aka Captain America) from WWII. Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno made appearances. Plus a great homage to the late Bill Bixby in a shot and some old music from the Hulk TV series. Great film overall.
47
Almost Famous (2000,  R)
Almost Famous
This has to be one of the best rock movies out there. Based on a true story the film is great from begining to the end. What a great cast in the film. From Patrick Fugit great performance as the young teenager traveling with a rock band. To Kate Hudson as the queen of the groupies. From Billy Crudup and Jason Lee great performances as members of the band Stillwater. Plus a great supporting cast throughout the film. If the film wasn't good enough the soundtrack alone in the film was awesome. I think Elton John's song Tiny Dancer got more popular after this film came out. A must see film for rock fans. A classic.
48
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2) (2008,  PG-13)
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2)
This was a great sequel. Had most of the original cast back. Great blend of Sci-fi, fantasy and comedy. The entire cast did a great job. The movie had a good flow to it. Makes you want to see a third film made. Ron Perlman is outstanding again as Hellboy. And good to see the character Abe Sapian get more of a role in this film. One of the best comics to film movies out there. A recommended must see.
49
The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
I originally stated that Batman Begins was the best Batman movie ever. I was wrong. The Dark Knight now has taken the #1 spot. Great performance all around by the cast. Bale again is a perfect Batman and Bruce Wayne. Ledger's performance as the Joker was amazing. Much like the dark character from the comics. Even Eckhart's as Two-Face/ Harvey Dent was great. Great story and action. You didn't want the movie to end. Director Christopher Nolan makes the film come to life. This film makes you feel your watching a great crime drama and not a superhero film. Again a great film. A must see.
50
The Usual Suspects (1995,  R)
The Usual Suspects
Great ending to a movie! Never saw it coming. Entire cast was excellent in it. Bryan Singer directs this film perfect. He keeps you interested from the begining but never clues you in till the end who the main villain is. A classic and a must see film.
51
Unforgiven (1992,  R)
Unforgiven
This is a great western. Very dark story with a great cast. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman are all great in this. Between the action and the great characters and story make this a great film. Now if you are not a fan of westerns you might want to avoid it. But I would suggest giving it a chance due to the great story and cast making it great. A must see for movie fans.
52
Kingpin (1996,  PG-13)
Kingpin
The Farrelly brothers direct another funny film. Dennis Quaid is very funny as the naive Amish bowler. Woody Harrelson is also funny as the down and out of luck ex-bowler. And Bill Murray plays the perfect bad guy in the film. Sure the humor can be crude at times but overall it is very funny. This is one of my favorite comedies.
53
Ronin (1998,  R)
Ronin
This is a excellent action/mystery/crime thriller. Robert DeNiro is awesome in this. In fact the entire cast are great in this. This film has a great story with tons of action. Sort of like a Mission Impossible film but with a lot darker tone to it. One of my favorites.
54
Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy (1996,  R)
Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy
Very funny if you like the Kids in the Hall humour! (Did you see. Did you see. The doctor and me.) (Cancer Boy-Ow, my marrow is low). I always get a great laugh from watching this film. But this may not be a film for all. I loved the television series when it was on. So this film was great for me as a fan. But of course I just ate a stubbie before I wrote this review.(You have to see the movie to know what the stubbie is) Overall I would recommend the film but then this may not be everyones type of movie if you don't enjoy Kids in the Hall humour.
55
Die Hard (1988,  R)
Die Hard
The first in the Die Hard series. A classic. Great action scenes with a great story. Bruce Willis is great in this as the tough cop McLane. Alan Rickman is a outstanding villain in this. One of the best action movies out there, Makes watching movies fun with this film.
56
Die Hard 2 (Die Hard 2: Die Harder) (1990,  R)
Die Hard 2 (Die Hard 2: Die Harder)
A great sequel to the first Die Hard film. Bruce Willis is excellent again as tough cop John McLane. The film brings more great action scenes with a great story. The villains are not as good as Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons are in the other Die Hard films. But they served their purpose as decent villains. Overall a great action movie.
57
Die Hard With a Vengeance (Die Hard 3) (1995,  R)
Die Hard With a Vengeance (Die Hard 3)
A great third film in the trilogy. Bruce Willis is excellent again portraying the tough cop McLane. Jeremy Irons played the perfect villain. This movie had great action scenes with a great story. Samuel l. Jackson was great as the sidekick to Mclane in this film. One of the best action movie series out there.
58
There's Something About Mary (1998,  R)
There's Something About Mary
The Farrelly brothers deliver another great comdey. Ben Stiller is very funny in this. Cameron Diaz is funny and a joy to watch in this film. This film has a great plot and keeps me laughing every time I watch it. Also a great supporting cast in this. One of my favorite comedies.
59
Clerks II (2006,  R)
Clerks II
This was a funny movie. Crude but funny. I'm a big fan of the original and this was a good sequel. Well worth a watch if you like Kevin Smith movies. Dante and Randal are both two great funny characters. A few cameos in this film. Kevin Smith is very good in his dialogue for this film as usual. May not be a comedy for all. I would suggest watching the original film and maybe some others like Mallrats, Dogma or Chasing Amy before watching this film.
60
Serenity (2005,  PG-13)
Serenity
I loved the show. The movie was great! Damn you Fox for canceling a great show! The movie filled in a lot of missing holes from the TV series. The only one never really answered was Shephards past. A great Sci-fi film. If you never watched the show there may be parts of the film that may make you scratch your head.
61
The Departed (2006,  R)
The Departed
Martin Scorsese seems to always direct great films with a all star cast. Great story and character's. Great performances all around. It's hard for me to pick someone out of this film who stood out as the best. This film may not be for everyone. But the story and characters are so good that I can't think why anyone would not like it. Plus a ending I didn't see 's coming. Great film for a cop or mob film lover. Another classic film brought to us by Martin Scorsese.
62
The Terminator (1984,  R)
The Terminator
This has to be one of the best action Sci-fi films ever made. I like Terminator 2 the best but this was a great introduction to the Terminator franchise. Arnold Schwarzenegger is perfect as the terminator. He plays the part perfect. Linda Hamilton is also great in her role as Sarah Connor. The films film is a nice mix of sci-fi, action and suspense. James Cameron directs a classic. The F/X is quite good for its time plus the film has a great soundtrack that sticks in your head. Overall a great film and a must see before you watch any other terminator film that followed.
63
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991,  R)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Usually a sequel to a film is never as good as the first film. But Terminator 2 is by far much better then the original in the series. Nothing against the first terminator movie but this exceeds it with action, F/X, story and acting. One of the best action Sci-fi films ever made. Arnold Schwarzenegger was great in his role as the Terminator. His best role he ever starred in. This movie will always be my favorite in the Terminator series. A classic.
64
Dazed and Confused (1993,  R)
Dazed and Confused
This is one of those films that reminds me of my high school days. Except for the paddle spanking. I never had that during my days of school. With a great talented young cast you see many in this film before they became big name stars. A great simple story of high school and hanging with friends. The films has a awesome soundtrack to a great look of the 70's clothes and style. One of those films that you could easily relate to the characters. Just a great film.
65
The Shawshank Redemption (1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
This is such a great film. The story to the great characters make this a great film. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman shine as the two main characters in the film. Plus with a outstanding supporting cast helsp make this a good film. You would never think this was written by Stephen King. Shows us how cruel and how good humans can be to each other. It was great to finally see Tim Robbins escape in the end. I great ending to the film. A must see.
66
Slap Shot (1977,  R)
Slap Shot
A must see for any hockey fan. One of the greatest hockey movies ever made. Paul Newman is excellent in this. Also got to love the Hanson brothers in this. Shows the crude and dirty side of hockey. Don Cherry hockey as I like to call it. A classic sports film.

L.A. Confidential (1997,  R)
L.A. Confidential
An excellent supense/ mystery/ thirller. Great cast. Great story. A great cop film. I loved the look of the film and the character's. Russell Crowe, James Cromwell, Kevin Spacey, Danny Devito, Guy Pearce and Kim Basinger are all excellent in this film. One of the best films released in the 90's. A must see.

Trailer Park Boys: The Movie (2006,  R)
Trailer Park Boys: The Movie
A very funny movie. If you like the television show then you will like the movie. Just seems like a long episode. Look for cameo's by Hugh Dillon(ex Headstones singer, now has his own band and actor in TV/movies) and Gord Downie(from the Tragically Hip). The film is basically a heist film With Ricky, Julian and Bubbles trying to make a big score. The characters are crazy and fun. You might have to be a fan of the show though to enjoy the film. I liked it.

Watchmen (2009,  R)
Watchmen
What a great movie. Now I always knew of the comic Watchmen and I aways wanted to read it. But after watching this film I must go and read the comic now. A superhero movie not for kids. A great story set in the 80's with flashbacks and connecting stories. A very deep story dealing with human nature and fear. Plus more. A very deep story with superhero's in it. The character's are great and the entire cast did a great job. Since I never read the comic I never knew what was going to happen next and had no expectations to compare with the comic. Rorschach was my favorite character. It was like watching Batman if he ever just snapped and decided one day the criminals should be killed. In fact I enjoyed all the characters. Each one was complex and written very well. A must see for any comic book fan. Even if you don't read comics this is a must see.

Witness (1985,  R)
Witness
Another Harrison Ford classic. Harrison Ford is excellent in his role as the cop who has to hide himself and a Amish boy and mother from crooked cops. The boy is a witness to a murder by a cop and they go into hiding in the Amish community. The story is a nice mix of drama, comedy, action, romance and about how different some cultures can be. Overall I really enjoyed this film.

Regarding Henry (1991,  PG-13)
Regarding Henry
This is a great film. Strong performance by Harrison Ford. He should have got a award for his performance in this. He takes a guy who you hate in the begining and you love him in the end. Shows you how one accident can change a life of a family forever. This movie has a great story and great supporting cast. One of those films that show how cruel and loving people can be.
72
The Mosquito Coast (1986,  PG)
The Mosquito Coast
I think this may be Harrison Ford's strongest performance. I really liked his Allie Fox character. Has a good story and a decent supporting cast. Some may find the film slow in parts but the characters are so interesting you don't care for any action. The character Allie Fox had his heart in the right place but was to paranoid in the end.He just wanted a simpler life for his family. It is one of those films that will have you debating between faith and science. Can they co-exist? Or will they always butt heads. A great film.
73
Air Force One (1997,  R)
Air Force One
A classic among the Harrison Ford movies. Great action flick with a good story. Gary Oldman plays a great villain and the movie had a great supporting cast. Harrison Ford delivers with this film. A great fun action film. Plus love the line "Get off my plane!" Overall a fun action film to watch.
74
Blade Runner (1982,  R)
Blade Runner
A classic in Sci-Fi. One of those films with a great story and stunning visuals. I think a lot of other movies made after this try and take the same futuristic look to their film. Harrison Ford is excellent in his role. A great story always making you wonder if the character Deckard is a replicant as well. Some believe so and some do not. You decide. Rutger Hauer in his best role ever as the main villain in the film. Overall a great Sci-fi film.
75
What Lies Beneath (2000,  PG-13)
What Lies Beneath
This is a great supernatural thriller. I liked it because Harrison Ford was the villain. He usually is the good guy.(Sorry if that ruined the film for those who have not seen it). Good change. Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer are both excellent in this. Not much action in this. But the story and characters are what makes this a great film.
76
Firewall (2006,  PG-13)
Firewall
A good suspense thriller starring Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford is excellent in his role as usual. Paul Bettany was a great villain in this. A good supporting cast to the film. The story is basically about a family taken hostage so they can get Harrison Ford's character to help them electronically steal money from the bank. Overall I found this to be a entertaining thriller that did it's job.
77
Six Days, Seven Nights (1998,  PG-13)
Six Days, Seven Nights
This is a decent action adventure romance comedy film. Harrison Ford is excellent as usual in his role. Anne Heche is also very good in this. The story was entertaining and has some good action in it. Overall I found this to be a entertaining film. Worth a watch.
78
Presumed Innocent (1990,  R)
Presumed Innocent
A great murder mystery drama. Harrison Ford is excellent as attorney Sabich. His past affair comes back to haunt him when she turns up murdered and his framed for the murder. Now he must solve the case to prove his innocence. The film has a great suppoting cast. With a strong story and acting all around this film was a great watch. Some may find it slow in parts but overall I find the characters and story to be quite good. Worth a watch.
79
The Devil's Own (1997,  R)
The Devil's Own
This is a decent thriller. Basically a young IRA gunmen goes to the USA to get some weapons to bring back to Ireland for the resistance. He stays with a Irish American family. The father is a cop and is unaware this young man has anything to do with the IRA till later in the film. Overall I found this to be a enjoyable film. Harrison Ford gives a great performance as usual. I thought Brad Pitt was also quite good. He did a good job on the Irish accent. Plus the film has a good supporting cast. The story is well done and has some great characters. A film worthy of watching.
80
The Prestige (2006,  PG-13)
The Prestige
I was quite impressed by this film. The story had me hooked right away. Plus I found you take a interest to Hugh Jackman's and Christian Bale's characters also right away. Great acting all around from the entire cast. The story has a mix of drama, mystery, suspense and even a little Sci-fi/Fantasy. The film has a great ending. Well worth a watch.
81
Crocodile Dundee II (1988,  PG)
Crocodile Dundee II
This is a great sequel. I liked the original better but this was still good. I liked how the film stared it New York then ended in Australia. Just the reverse from the original. Paul Hogan is excellent again as Dundee. And it was good to see some of the original cast back for this. The story is fun and entertaining. I always enjoy watching this film.
82
Braveheart (1995,  R)
Braveheart
This was a great movie. Mel Gibson delievers a great film in his acting and his direction. The story based on a Scottish hero William Wallace was well done. The look and feel of the film was excellent. Acting tops all around by the cast. Patrick McGoohan gives a awesome performance as King Edward the Longshanks. Plus the well shot battle scenes are outstanding. This is a long film that does take and twist the actual William Wallace story. But that does not matter. They stay close enough to the history of the story and bring us a great film to watch.
83
Gladiator (2000,  R)
Gladiator
My favorite Russel Crowe film. A great action adventure film. A film with a great story and action and drama though out the film. Good performances all around by the cast. The battle scenes in the begining of the film and later in the gladiator ring are well done. A must see film.
84
The X-Files - Fight the Future (1998,  PG-13)
The X-Files - Fight the Future
A great movie for a great television show. The X-Files is my all time favorite show from television. And this movie lived up to my expectations. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovnyare both excellent as usual as Scully and Mulder. A great Sci-fi mystery film. Though if you never watched the show then you may be confused by this film. One of my all time favorite films.
85
Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek
A great update on a classic series. The casting of each Star Trek member is spot on. Chris Pine was awesome as Kirk. Right down to the mannerisms and the fighting style. Zachary Qunito was also great as Spock. A great performance by Karl Urban as Bones McCoy. They all got these main characters spot on. Plus fresh updates on the rest of the main crew. I liked the original Star Trek shows and the movies that followed. But J.J. Abrams gives us a new fresh start of this series. Abrams gives up a high octane fast pace space adventure. From the great storyline to some awesome F/X this films delivered. Now some Trekkie fans may hate the timeline change of the story and the history being altered from the Star Trek we grew up with. But I think this allows for future stories without being hindered by past stories. Overall this films has something for Trekkie fans of old and those just wanting to see a great action adventure sci-fi film. Well worth a watch.
86
Heat (1995,  R)
Heat
A great heist film. Al Pacino and DeNiro both give top notch performances. Plus with a great supporting cast this is a must see film. The story is well done and the characters are interesting. You want to root for the bad guys in this. Well except one of them. The film also has some great action sequences. Overall this is one of those films that delivers in entertainment and great storytelling. Well worth a watch.
87
Chasing Amy (1997,  R)
Chasing Amy
A classic by Kevin Smith. The Jason Lee character Spanky is my favorite in this. Very funny and great cast. The film had a great blend of story with humor, romance and drama. Ben Affleck Jason Lee and Joey Lauren Adams all give great performances. This film makes references to the previous films Clerks and Mallrats. So if you have not seen them give them a check out as well. Overall this is worth a watch.
88
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001,  R)
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
If your a fan of Kevin Smith movies then this is a must see. A very funny film. Takes the two characters Jay and Silent Bob from the other Kevin Smith movies and makes them the stars of the film. I personally am a fan of these characters and the other films. They touch base of previous films with also some other characters from those films as well. The film has tons of cameos. The humour is crude but done very well. I always get a great laugh watching this film.
89
Dogma (1999,  R)
Dogma
A great film by Kevin Smith. The story is so funny yet takes some serious elements of religion. With a outstanding cast they are all great in their characters. The story is well done and flows very nicely. A very funny film. Some crude humour in it but still funny. Overall a must see.

X-Men Origins - Wolverine (2009,  PG-13)
X-Men Origins - Wolverine
As a huge Wolverine fan I found this to be a decent movie. The film is basically a prequel to the other X-Men movies. They took some elements from the Wolverine comics and made up a different take on the origin. My favorite parts of the film first was Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Again he is outstanding as Wolverine. He looks and acts this part perfect. Liev Schreiber was awesome as Sabretooth. His take on the character was almost spot on from the comics. Plus I found the story was fast paced with tons of action. I was not bored from watching this film. My dislikes of the film was the Deadpool character in the end. Maybe I am so use to this character in the comics that it seemed odd to give him powers he never had in them. Plus I thought they could have given Gambit I little bit more screen time and action. Plus maybe they could have made the movie just a little longer to develop more character backgrounds. Plus I thought they could have made the Blob a much better character/foe. But overall with the few faults I found this to be a fun and action packed movie. I enjoyed it very much.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009,  PG-13)
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen is a great sequel. The film takes place a few years after the original. This time we learn that the Transformers have been on earth for thousands of years looking for new enertron energy. Megatron comes back looking for this and with the decepticons they need the boy Sam who has this knowledge. This is just a plain fun film. The film has great action sequences and awesome F/X. The film does seem to have a few holes in it and some of the human characters are not needed in it. But once you get past that it is just pure popcorn fun. I prefer the original but this is a great sequel. Great to have Soundwave, Ravage and Jetfire appear as autobots and decepticons in the film. Childhood favorites of mine. Overall a fun action Sci-fi film. Well worth checking out.
92
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
This was a awesome movie. They did a great job on it. Never made it cheesy. Comedy, action, romance, sci-fi, fantasy. It had it all. Even if one never watched the Transformer cartoons as a kid you should still like it. Michael Bay did a great job with this film. He took the characters and story seriously. A classic cartoon show made into a must see movie.

Oasis: Live by the Sea (1995,  Unrated)
Oasis: Live by the Sea
This is the first live show dvd from the great rock band Oasis. During their first and best album 'Definitely Maybe'. Liam Gallagher gives his best vocals, Noel Gallagher gives us top notch songs and we get to see all the original band together performing. Full of classic Oasis songs and banter from the Gallaghers. Love the part when Noel forgets the words in the middle of 'Sad Song". That was funny. A must see for any Oasis fan.
94
Oasis: ...There and Then (1996,  Unrated)
Oasis: ...There and Then
The second dvd release from the great rock band Oasis. During the 'What's the Story Morning Glory' album and the height of their career. We get to see the band perform at two different shows. We get all the classics and best from their first two albums in this. Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are top notch in their singing and performance. Plus the film has short interviews with the band in between the songs. A great live show by Oasis. A must see for any Oasis fan.
95
Valkyrie (2008,  PG-13)
Valkyrie
A great WWII drama about the true story of Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg and his attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler and throw a coup right after to control Germany and end the war. Great performances from Tom Cruise, Tom Wilkison, Terence Stamp, Eddie Izzard and Carice Van Houten. This is a great movie showing that not all the German people believed Hitler was taking them on the right path. If only they could have acted sooner. Great job by director Bryan Singer and his ability to throw together this great story into a film. Worth checking out for those who enjoy films about WWII or true life based stories.

North by Northwest (1959,  Unrated)
North by Northwest
This is a great film by director Alfred Hitchcock. The story is about a New York advertising executive who gets mistaken for a man named Kaplan. They film has a great story that kept me interested the entire way through. Cary Grant is excellent as Thornhill. His charm and acting are top notch in this role. Plus great performances from Eva Marie Saint, James Mason and Martin Landau. The film has such a smooth flow to it and great characters. Plus the look of the film is awesome. Also the score to the film is great. This is one of those films I always wanted to see and it did not disappoint me. Alfred Hitchcock even makes a very quick cameo in his film. In the begining credits while trying to get on a bus. I laughed at the quick scene. A must see film for movie fans.

Rear Window (1954,  PG)
Rear Window
A classic. Another great film by Alfred Hitchcock. I can see why this was nominated for four Academy Awards. The film stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Thelma Ritter, Wendell Cory and Raymond Burr. Excellent performances by all. It was amazing to believe the entire set was constructed on a soundstage. The way Hitchcock had this filmed and focus on each person in the windows of the apartment was well done. The story was well done and and has interesting characters. A story that drags you in and entertains through the characters and direction. A must see.

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009,  R)
The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day
The sequel to the cult hit Boondock Saints does not disappoint. If your a fan of the original then you should enjoy this as well. The entire cast from the original are back for this. Plus nice additions of Clifton Collins, Julie Benz, Peter Fonda, Judd Nelson and Robb Wells. You can tell this movie had a bigger budget than the original. But the director kept the style much the same. You get the same over the top action, gun fights, violence, cussing and crazy characters. The story itself is eight years later from the original. The MacManus brothers and father are living in Ireland when they learn a priest is murdered in a church in their old town of Boston. This of course sends them back to exact revenge. The story is simple and easy to follow. Many fans of the original will understand the humour and jokes relating to first film. I will admit I still prefer the original movie over this sequel. But I still enjoyed it. And the way they ended this movie can easily lead to a third movie to be made. A must see for fans of the original.
