A classic comedy from the 80's. One of Chevy Chase best comedies. This is the first vacation movie about the Griswold family. This movie has them traveling across the USA. The movie is full of funny scenes and lines. The film does seem very dated now. But it is still funny to this day. Well worth checking this movie out.

This is a solid thriller. It stars Jodie Foster as a singkle mother withn her daughter. They move into a brownstone in New York. This home has a panic room. They end up using it when a group of men break into their home. The story itself was okay. This is your typical thriller. Solid performances from everybody in the film. You do get that claustrophobic feel at times with the camera shots. If your a big Jodie Foster fan then I would suggest checking this out. Worth a one time watch.

I was never familiar with the back story on the late comedian Andy Kaufman. I remember watching him in the show Taxi when I was a kid. But other than that I was unaware of his life. Andy Kaufman was a very odd but funny man. Many did not seem to understand his humour or were not ready for it. Jim Carrey is excellent as Andy Kaufman. His potray of this man seemed to be to a tee. Plus the film has a great supporting cast. This movie is funny yet sad at the same time. Well worth a watch.

This is a decent drama. Basically about three women who bond together to help mend and solve their problems. Along the way they have their troubles and fights but in the end their friendships make them all stronger. All solid performances from Whoopi Goldberg, Mary Louise Parker and Drew Barrymore. This could be labeled as a chick flick but I enjoyed it. It was a entertaining movie. Solid cast and story made for a good film. Worth a watch.

This is a comedy about four teenagers that win tickets to a Kiss concert. Set back in the 70's you get all the look and feel of that era. No real big names in this movie. The most notable is Edward Furlong who is famous for his John Connor role in Terminator 2. The story is funny and you get many strange and fun characters. You get many laughs along the way. A fun mindless film to pass the time away. Worth a watch.

This is the second movie based off of the popular television show the Trailer Park Boys. The story takes place two years after the last television special of the Trailer Park Boys. All the guys are back. Bubbles, Julian, Ricky, Mr.Lahey, Randy, Lucy, Tyrone and J-Roc. Now if you have never watched a episode of the television series then you will get loss with the characters and past stories. This is a movie more for the hardcore fans. The movie is your typical Trailer Park Boys antics. Swearing, crime and getting into situations to send them back to jail. The movie is very funny. But then if you have never watched the show then you may not find it as funny. The movie seemed more like a long episode of the television series. But I liked it. I would suggest watching the television series before watching this movie. But overall this is a solid comedy that made me laugh.

So this is a updated remake on a classic Hitchcock movie. The original is in black and white. So of course this time the movie is in full colour. I don't think this remake was needed but it was a solid attempt to capture the spirit of the original. Vince Vaughn stars as Norman Bates. And Anne Heche as Marion. This film is suppose to match the original. But when in colour and a updated period of time still didn't compare to the original. I would suggest watching the original Hitchcock Psycho and then watch this update to compare. You may enjoy both or hate either one. I still prefer the original but found this to be a solid remake on a classic thriller.

This turned out to be a decent action Sci-fi movie. Basically about a world of intelligent bugs that begin to wage war on the planet earth. The movie is full of action, giant bugs, death and explosions. Even bits of romance and friendships thrown in to boot. The movie is full of cheesy dialogue but it works for this type of film. Everything about it seems to work. Even the film has a solid cast. If your looking for a fun movie to just zone out to then check this out.

This is a decent action horror movie. It takes from the movie Jaws and Leviathan and combines the two. Basically we have this underwater research lab studying sharks. Some how they make these sharks smart. Of course these sharks escape thanks to their new intelligence and begin a killing spree. The movie is predictable for this type of story. You see many horrific death scenes. The F/X was decent for this film. Plus the movie has a great cast. It never stands up to the movie Jaws. But if your looking for a entertaining movie about killer sharks then check it out.

This is a solid sci-fi thriller about aliens that begin to take over the bodies of teachers at a high school. Of course some of the students begin to suspect and band together to stop the aliens. This film has a great young cast. Plus with the veteran actors as the teachers helped fill out the rest of the roles. The story itself is decent. You got a good blend of action, sci-fi, horror, comedy and thriller roled into one for this movie. Plus some solid F/X was in the film. The story was predictable but it entertained me. Overall worth maybe a one time watch.

This is a solid action sci-fi thriller. Basically about one man who stumbles on to a police conspiracy. Now this was at the time a future set movie for 1999. Now we know that 1999 never turns out the way this film makes it look. But regardless it was a neat look into a supposed alternate future. Ralph Fiennes is excellent as the hero of the film. Plus throw in a great supporting cast and solid story, action and F/X you get a decent film. This film may not appeal to all but give it a one time watch. I enjoyed it.

This was a decent comedy. Basically about a ever day sweet house wife that has a dark secret. She is a serial killer who takes out anyone who hurts her family. This was funny at times. Kathleen Turner was great as the serial killer mom. Some very funny scenes. Made me laugh a few times. Worth a one time watch.

This is the thrid film in the Scream series. While it was good it still does not measure up to the original. This time we have Sidney and friends back on the set of the movie called Stab. Basically about the famous killings that reflect her life. Of course another killer is lose and killing people on set. Some what predictable and having you wonder how is this killer connected to the rest make any sense. But it was still entertaining and the movie has a great cast. You still get some great chase and death scenes. The story is decent and made for a nice conclusion to the other two films. If you enjoyed the other Scream films then give this a chance.

This was a good action horror. Basically about a cop who has to stop Satan from claiming a women as his bride. Arnold Schwarzenegger chose a very dark role for the film. He plays a cop that is very suicidal after the death of his family. But he pulls it off. Kevin Pollak was a great sidekick to him in this. And Gabriel Byrne was excellent casting choice for Satan. The movie is very dark and has that nice mix of supernatural, horror and action. Plus the movie has some great F/X. Overall Arnold has made better films but this was still entertaining. Worth a watch.

This is a odd film. It is about this man who's car breaks down in a small town in the state of Arizona. He is stuck in this town while waiting for his car to get fixed. Of course he comes across many odd characters that get him into trouble. The story itself is solid and the film has a great cast. All the characters are odd. But director Oliver Stone seems to make them work for this type of film. I was sort of on the bubble about this movie at the end. It was good but also confusing at times. I most likely will have to watch it again some time. But for now I would say it is worth a one time watch.

This is a very good horror thriller. Stars Gregory Peck as a American diplomat who discovers that his son is the anti-christ. The movie plays that great line of horror and thriller. Every time you saw a crow you knew someone was going to die. The movie had a good cast and a solid story. The boy was very creepy. Well worth a watch.
