I didn't read the novel however I've found the story wonderfull . It is a love story that is built up between two different people form different social classes ! It is ever so romantic when he express his feelings towards her in the rain , however she doesn't accept them ! The story ends in a very different way as they are together !

This film takes place on an aeroplane where a buisness woman (Rachel McAdams) meets a totally stranger (Cillian Murphy) whom at first she starts to like. However as the aeroplane leaves the land he becomes more mysterious and scary. He begans to narrate facts about her family , especially her father . He also tries to manipulate her , when he told her that she had to phone at the hotel she worked in so that the president that was going to spent a few days there would change his room so that his men would kill him ! If not her father would die ! A very breathtaking movie !
