What an endearing movie! A classic movie with great actor Sidney Poitier in this story of hope and faith. Great movie to watch especially around Christmas. :)
Jim Carrey is hilarious as the Grinch! The role was just well suited for him. He brings to the character what exactly the Grinch should be and appear. So funny and one of my favorite holiday movies.
True to the book, NEW MOON is an amazing sequel which surpasses the first movie Twilight. Loved the new characters, was touching, sad, and endearing with some cool action sequences with the wolves and vampires. :D A definite favorite of mine.
One of my favorite movies!!! Just added to my DVD collection. The actor I admired the most at the time, Timothy Hutton stars with Sean Penn, Tom Cruise, George C. Scott and Ronny Cox in this military academy drama. Cadets are informed that their school is going to be closed. An unfortunate event happens when town locals are taunting the cadets, where an accidental shooting happens. Soon cadets are fighting to keep their school open, and take on the Military as they refuse to give up for their right to stay open. A good movie with great performances by Penn and Cruise. Worth a watch.
What a touching story! It captured my soul in the beginning and I shed a tear or two. The animation was fabulous as always, and the movie was cute and enjoyable with adorable characters. A must see for all. I LOVED IT! Now part of my DVD collection.
Not one of Singleton's best, but the story was ok. The actors/singers placed to play the lead characters were a bit annoying, but Regina King was the best whom always get's into her role, and stole the show from the two main characters. Mayo Angelou's poems are great, which is quoted by Janet Jackson in this ok movie. I liked it and it was amusing, but they just did not bring out the roles as they should have.
Very predictable. Character's were very dry. Not enough emotion in them and it tried to be funny romantic comedy, but it didn't work. But I watched it and somewhat enjoyed it with some amusing scenes.
The third movie. Supposedly shot in 3D when it was released, the story follows son Mike Brody and gal pal working at Sea World in Florida, where a killer shark manages to make it's way inside the park. Cool effects on the large sharks attacks on it's victims. Movie was ok, and I enjoyed it.
