Ok, I had trouble getting through this flick. It's fucking mind numbingly boring. So I turned it off halfway. I'll check it out again, just not in the near future. 2001 kicks it's ass.
Night of the Living Dead

The one that started it all. Raw, visceral, and unrelenting. George Romero is my hero.

The Dark Knight
PG-13
Holy fucking shit, this was the greatest 152 minutes of my life. It's an insanely epic masterpiece and I loved every fucking minute of it. It's the greatest and most perfect comic book movie to ever be made and it makes any others obsolete. I got all I hoped for and more. Not many comic book movies have exceeded my expectations but this has. Christopher Nolan is a GOD. Yes, I'm a psychotic, obsessive fanboy and I don't care what any of you pretentious, pedantic film snobs think. This is my favorite movie. Dude, Heath Ledger is a fucking force of nature and he's truly terrifying as all hell. I just love all the character's little nuances. He totally obliterates Jack's Joker in every single way. He makes Jack look like a child. He fucking owns this movie. He has indelibly left his mark on comic and cinema fans forever. If he doesn't get an Oscar, you can bet your ass I'll be boycotting. Believe it. The rest of the cast is fantastic, as well. Bale's the fucking man. He always brings a stellar performance. His Bruce Wayne is perfect and his Batman kicks ass. Aaron Eckhart is a treat as Harvey Dent and his Two-Face is disgustingly good. Gary Oldman is a fucking badass. He was born to play Gordon. Michael Caine is charmingly splendid, as always. Maggie Gyllenhaal does a really good job too. She actually brings some credibility and respectability to the role, unlike the generic Katie Holmes. The atmosphere of this movie is amazingly surreal, it feels like a living, breathing comic book and the action is fucking balls to wall insane. The ending is bleak as hell but it's awesome. I wonder how Nolan and Co. are going to top this, it seems like an impossible feat. If they even come close to the sheer awesomeness of this I'll eat my shoe. Oh, and did I mention it's awesome? Fuck Superman. Fuck Spider-Man. Batman is the shit. So I've seen it 3 times so far and it hasn't lost it's awesomeness.

There Will Be Blood

This movie hits you like a fever. Paul Thomas Anderson has created his most highly absorbing, intriguing and beautiful film yet. I really don't know how P.T.A. is going to top himself. Daniel Day-Lewis is a consummate professional. He is manically brilliant, he drinks my milkshake. I think he's an alien. Paul Dano is pretty amazing too. Hell, even the fucking kid who played H.W. was amazing. Everybody is at the top of their game. Boy, the cinematography is beautiful. Robert Elswit, you are my hero. Every shot is a feast for the eyes. The guy is seriously underrated. The score by Jonny Greenwood is hauntingly mesmerizing. It's beyond words. Too bad he didn't get a nomination because the Academy are a bunch of douchebags. Simply put, this movie is amazing and it's better than anything the visual and auditory rapist Michael Bay has ever done. It's mindbogglingly awesome. I speak the truth.

Oh, man, what an awesome movie. I love everything about this movie, from it's wonderful and quirky characters to it's Altmanesque direction. Paul Thomas Anderson can do no wrong in my book.

Ha I know. He fails so bad. I saw After Hours recently as did you apparently...wasn't it insane? I think its almost impossible for Scorsese to make a really bad film. I mean the dude crafts a great performance out of Nicholas Cage he has to be a genius lol.

Hey man did you read that article about the Lucas dude trying to argue that Ledger doesn't deserve a nomination because of the accidental overdose? I think as both of us being friends of former drug addicts we can agree how unfair this guy is being and how stupid it is to argue that he doesn't deserve a nomination because of his personal life.

Wooooowwwwww....
"Lucas asserts that Ledger's performance isn't all that great anyway -- "a can-can dance of snuffling pseudo-psychopathia," he calls it -- but that's irrelevant to his larger point. It would seem that even if Ledger's Joker truly did represent the finest acting of the year, his personal behavior should disqualify him from Oscar consideration."
Lucas...why have you betrayed me so?posted 5 days ago -

Thanks man I am feeling very good write now knowing that people like the film (Cause let's face it if I didn't care what people thought I would not be making films.) I am happy to see that my work has paid off then. I am also working on a couple of new storyboards right now and I will try to get them up soon.
P.S Let me know when you finish your first film.posted 7 days ago -
I Think He Is Going To Be A Ledgend Becouse Of The Way He Played The Joker In The Dark Knight.

I have a list of his stuff up, if you'd like to get some suggestions. Bananas was fun, but it was my least favorite of his more slapstick '70s stuff so far. Love and Death is awesome.
