I honestly don't know how to rate this movie... I heard so many great things about this, so I guess it was a fact that I would be a little dissapointed (the expectations were big.) Besides that it was a good movie indeed... Especially if you are a fan of movies with vampires (yes lol the little girl is a vampire). I liked the fact that some different views about vampires were presented (***SPOILER***SPOILER***SPOILER***DON'T READ THAT ONE IF U HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE*** For example Eli couldn't enter the room unless someone invites her in, so I guess it makes sense why they named the movie "let the right one in"!Cool lol!)

The soundtrack was good enough. The performances were fantastic (of course Kare Hedebrant as Oskar and Lina Leandersson as Eli stand out). The atmosphere was great. Yup, overall seems this movie works well.
PS. It's not a scary movie, but there are some cool and bloody vampire scenes ;D

A film that gives u a good laugh! A romantic comedy which is funny and enjoyable (at last!).

The Open Road

Years of miscommunication, frustration and comically awkward attempts at bonding come to a head as the mismatched trio make their way from Ohio back home to Houston to reunite the family.

At the beginning of this movie I was uncertain if I was going to like it cause it starts off kinda slow. But it really ended up being a good story. Love Jeff Bridges, he was great like always. Had really funny one liners. Justin Timberlake was a little stiff for me at the beginning, but he gradually grew on me. Him and Jeff play very well off each other. Wouldn't mind seeing them do another movie together. Haven't seen Kate Mara, in a lot of movies, but the ones I have seen her in, I really liked her acting. Love a road trip movie. Think they are some of the best movies made. So if you like a good road trip movie and a good heartfelt story then I would definitely see this movie.

Paranormal Activity

What on earth was that?? Really really NOT scary. Who got scared with this movie!?!? Why does everyone compare this with the Blair Witch project?? Nothing even close to "The blair witch project", which is by the way INDEED SCARY and the best film presented as a documentary pieced together from amateur footage. Paranormal activity is the new Blair witch project? Yeah right! Who dreamed of that? (the fact that I talk more about the Blair witch project than Paranormal activity on a review which is supposed to be about Paranormal activity in the first place does convince you that this movie was stupid and without any reason to exist?)
Ok my opinion(which I think I made pretty clear lol); Paranormal activity was boring, slow and I repeat NOT scary at all (unless this is the first thriller you watch, then I accept it). What a crap...

What Just Happened?

Two nail-biting, back-stabbing, roller-coaster weeks in the world of a middle-aged Hollywood producer as he tries to juggle an actual life with an outrageous series of crises in his day job. Ben is besieged by people who want him all to be sorts of things -- a money maker, an ego buster, a bad news breaker, an artistic champion, a loyal husband, an all-knowing father, not to mention sexy, youthful and tuned-in -- everything except for the one thing he and all the preposterously behaved people he's surrounded by really are: bumbling human beings just trying to survive by any means necessary.

This movie has a lot of talent in it. I know there are plenty of people who didn't enjoy this movie, but I did. I thought it gave us an good insight on how things run in the show biz and how hard it is to make a name for yourself and how hard it is to get your work shown. It also shows how the movie world expects to change your personal looks on how they want you to look, whether it be your hair, weight, or your values. I enjoyed all the characters. Thought Bruce Willis was halarious at playing himself. I am sure thats not how he really is.. But I thought it was a movie worth seeing, espeacially with talent it has lined up in it like, Robert De NIro, Bruce Willis, Catherine Keener, Kristen Stewart, and Robin Wright Penn. Just a lot of good actors.

The Lucky Ones

What begins as a short trip unexpectedly evolves into a longer journey. Forced to grapple with old relationships, broken hopes and a country divided over the war, TK, Cheever and Colee discover that home is not quite what they remembered and that the unlikely companionship.

-Really liked this film a lot. Rachel McAdams was so good in this movie. Tim Robbins.. I mean he is one of the best actors out there. He was amazing as always. Really liked Michael Pena. I haven't seen him in many films and thought he was great. The acting, the script, all of it was great. It was funny, sad, and just really good. I would call this a dramedy. Really good watch.

Zombieland

awesome zombie film! hilarious and well made..little bit of action and good looking zombies..Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg in great roles, they really put a smile on your face when they are running around killing the living dead..

Talking to Heaven (Living with the Dead)

A man begins to have disturbing visions of dead people, among whom are his mother and victims of a local serial killer. The detective investigating the murders looks to him for help in solving the case.

This is a great watch. One of the best movies I have ever seen. I had the luck of finding this on T.V. today. I enjoyed it so much that I would love to find this on DVD.
The guy (Ted Danson) is on one hand trying to help a detective solve a series of murders but also cope with his new found "talent" that he does not want, along with other personal troubles. His father played by Jack Palance is a non-believer and doesn't want to hear about his son's new talent. But his close friend (played by Queen Latifah) is a believer and encourages him to use his talent.
This movie is a mixture of a thriller, suspense, and drama. Definitely one of the best (if not the best) T.V. made movies I have ever seen. It alternates chilling and moving moments without any false note, using misdirection and red herrings with consummate skill. It keeps you guessing throughout the movie until the end. So if you like a good ghost story, then this is a movie you don't want to miss. Has all the elements to give you chills.
A must see...

Moon

One great performance by Sam Rockwell... and... yeah that's all I guess...
In my reviews, all I really do is writing about the feeling the movie gave me and honestly this time I got dissapointed... Where is the extraordinairy plot?! Where is the suspense and the mystery the trailer gave me the idea I will experience? In conclusion, it's a decent movie, you are not gonna get bored or something like that, but you may get dissapointed, if u expect too much(so I think my review will do some good lol since I prepair u for this)

Surrogates

THIS MOVIE LOOKS CRAZY... REALLY DIFFERENT CAN'T WAIT..

Plot: People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates ? sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It?s an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don?t exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (BRUCE WILLIS) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.



Well I waited awhile to see this, and once again a dissapointment. There was just no reason at all to put the script to a film. It was just boring and D.O.A. From begining to end. Definitely have seen better work from Bruce Willis. The concept is slightly like I-Robot. The only difference is the humans live their lives through these robots.
The movie was just very bland for me, and there was just not enough action.

Farmhouse

well, the first half of the movie was pretty good, thrilling and entertaining, but then it got a bit boring and predictable and I was just thinking "everybody just die already"..and then the end, it was so horrifying and not in a fun way, it made me sick, if you watch it you know what I mean..

Paranormal Activity

this movie is great..very scary, keeps you on your toes and gives you the chills..very realistically made, and I think that's why it's so good..I am so hardened because I am the horror freak that I am, but parts of this movie really scared me, some scenes were horrifying..

Paranormal Activity

This movie looks to be a really scary flick. Hope it holds up to its hype..

Well I watched this movie last night with my sister. I am sad to say that for ME, it did not add up to all the hype it was getting. The whole scenario is yes, creepy. But it fell short. Not enough "creepy" moments for me. I thought the movie was quite boring until it got about thirty minutes into it. The acting was somewhat believable, and for it to be a very low budget film, I thought it held it's own when it came to the special effects.
Overall it was just OK for me.
