This is the first movie that I've seen that effectively explains WHY it's so hard to kick oil. It's not as interesting or deep as some other documentaries that I've seen, but it raises good questions.
Reverend Billy is HILARIOUS... in small doses. The levity of the presentation (and lack of factual info) undermines his agenda. See "Maxed Out " instead.
The best part of this movie was Olga Kurylenko. My god she looked nice...not that great of an actress but she looks nice. Tim Olyphant was just too cold and stiff for me to really get into this move. He's no Jason Bourne.
This film questions the harmful impacts of sexuality as taboo, and tackles issues of misogyny and feminine empowerment so unconventionally (and successfully) that I am willing to forgive the holes and "made for TV" production quality. Reminds me of the old Tales from the Crypt TV series.
I wish that this film had more suspense or tension but it was fun and entertaining. What more can you ask for...I mean... other than suspense or tension?
I didn't think it was possible but M Night is getting worse. Everything about this movie is bad from the editing down to the acting. I could tell you what's causing this "happening" but I guarantee that you wouldn't believe me.
This one was definitely better than the first Hulk. I liked that this Hulk was darker, but they dumbed it down a little too much and some of the dialogue and action felt a bit cheesy.
I avoided this movie because I didn't like Narnia, but this was MUCH better. I AM starting to wonder why kids in these kinds of movies always have British accents though. Hmmm.
Um....Awwwkward! I still can't figure out what Craig Gillespie wants the audience to do - pretend along with the town, or see Lars as the sick guy that he is.
Unlike Napoleon Dynamite and Superbad I finally see a movie that lives up to the hype. Juno's sarcasm does start to wear on you after a while but overall Ellen Page was great.
Makes it's point in the first 5 minutes then spends the next hour and 20 minutes bashing you over the head with it. Curt and Ian look as bored an disinterested throughout as I was watching it.
