| Robinson Crusoe on Mars - Unrated | A fine example of sci-fi adventure from the 60's. Sure some of the effects are campy and a little bit of the survival tactics are too convenient. Another wonderful motherly attentive film by Almodovar. Though the story takes several tangents and things just continue to happen, it's an enjoyable experience that is very rewarding by the closing credits. Look for many aspects of this film to be nominated come Oscar night, but because it's foreign might have some difficulty with wins. As always, Cruz rules the day. MY FULL REVIEW IS HERE |
