My Favorite Movies

This is my favorite film. Ever. Don't be afraid. Just sit down and watch it. Oh, and read the book, too.

The best cinematography of all time. Period.

It's a shame that this one has been virtually forgotten. The special effects were groundbreaking back then, and still magnificent today. The all-star cast includes the very intriguing Isabella Rossellini, Bruce Willis, Goldie Hawn, and the great Meryl Streep.

Priceless. Not for the faint of heart.

Recently re-issued on DVD, thank God! It's an ensemble cast, a must-see!

A naked blonde walks into a bar, with a poodle under one arm and a two-foot salami under the other. She lays the poodle on the table. Bartender says, "I suppose you won't be needing a drink." The naked lady says...

They haven't created words for this one, but I'll try this: BRILLIANT.

This film makes all the malenky little hairs on my plodd stand endwise.

If you're not the oldest sister (like me), you won't get it. But if you are, watch it. Utter brilliance.

I love Terry Gilliam's vision. Very well-done.

I love this one because it introduces Zed. Zed is beloved to me.

My favorite of the Police Academy films, admittedly due to Billie Bird (the trigger-happy elderly lady). Plus, it's got a couple of has-beens, a couple of never-wases, a couple of rising stars (like David Spade), and the awesomeness that is Tackleberry.

:) Go rent it if you haven't seen it. NOW.

Sam Raimi rocks what would otherwise be your typical, low-budget, cheesy, generic, quasi-horror flick. Honorable mention goes to The Man, Bruce Campbell.

One of my guilty pleasures. I mostly like it because of the hot naked zombie chick with the legwarmers. It will make you laugh and barf at the same time, so go see it!

One of the most terrifying films I've ever seen. Period.

I am a big fan of both Natasha Lyonne and Clea DuVall, so this one is a natural favorite for me. Plus, it's got Bull from "Night Court", so how can you go wrong??

So very well-written and acted. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
