Sapphire Wine (drinkingsapphirewine)

Not as bad as critics are claiming. There's some fun action sequences and though the CGI is on a shoestring budget it's not too shabby. The story was (wisely) seriously condensed from the book but is still longer than you'd expect. If you didn't like the books or the first film it's pointless going to this unless you like to complain.

Excellent sci-fi and an all round excellent film. Acting is impeccable and it's nice to see a film where plot and character are showcased rather than overblown action sequences and special effects.
