Absolute belter of a follow up. Okay the ending is a little daft but overall this was more than a match for the original. Alittle less action and roofjumping but what they did do was superb. One scene where the lead boy jumps in to the drivers seat of a little peugeot was unbelievable.

Well what can I say.....Rich overprivilaged americans without kids swan round the world every year at Christmas lying to their families who have emotionally screwed them up for years.....pathetic is a good word for this. Okay I did titter a few times but it was just far too sickly sweet for my pallet.

I dont think in all seriousness that there could have been a better actor to have played the lead role in this than Bruce Campbell. I have loved this from as far back into my film watching history that I can remember and it will always be one of the best horror films ever made. The blend of comedy and sheer terror will never be beaten. Evil with a sense of humour.....nasty.

Freddy Kruger is one of the greatest movie baddies of all time. When it was released the idea that a killer could get you in your dreams was just visionary and although it was nothing new the way it was written was superb. I cannot rate this film high enough..........absolute classic.
