Where the Wild Things Are

A truly unique vision from Spike Jones. The melancholy tone, the thematic elements (boyhood, wildness, empathy and feelings), and the artistic direction meshed nicely. The voice acting was unusual and surprising but excellently done. My only criticism is perhaps the Californianess of the thing: both the voices and the Burning Man aesthetic were just a little bit too much.
