A little bit up its own ass (Wes Anderson style) but the movie is actually about a guy who is completely up his own ass so it's great that way. Cast is awesome. William Baldwin.

8/10. Even though I was really looking forward to this movie it caught me off guard. It's incredibly somber, austere and emotionally charged. Upon first viewing the narrative appears to meander a bit but upon reflection it was all worthwhile and there wasn't too much I would have cut. We should celebrate the fact that Spike Jonze was given $100 million to make exactly the movie he wanted. I'm convinced that this film will become a classic over time. Recommended to see in the theaters because there are some epic sweeping shots. Oh and Max gives a great performance. Didn't like the score much and wish they had gone more traditional with it.
