Terrific performances by Randy Quaid and Mary Beth Hurt, along with Bob Balaban's direction made this movie all the creepier.

Where has this movie been all my life?

Once the movie's big revelation of what was being released into the air, that was when I realized that M. Night Shyamalan should be locked up.
There are some creative and disturbing death scenes that should gratify some gore-hounds, but I think that Shyamalan is trying way too hard.
Plus, horrible performance by Mark Wahlberg. I like the guy, but its hard not to crack up because of his acting. He sounds too much like an 8 year old. I haooen to like him, but please!
Max Payne Max Payne PG-13 2.5 Stars
Pretty stylish, but overdone. Well within director John Moore's realm. The movie is fine, if all your after is something flashy without any real depth.
There are some moments lifted from the game (like the famous bullet-timed shoot-outs) but it also has dialogue that sounds lifted from a Sin City fanfiction.
Overall, it can be entertaining, but the flash and stylish action can be a bit grating at times.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan You Don't Mess with the Zohan PG-13 3.0 Stars
A little silly, but it is a welcome addition after stinkers like "Chuck and Larry" and "Click".
The story is probably the closest thing I've seen any of his comedies come to being socially and politically relevent, by looking at the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, without making one side becoming the bad guys.
Then there's Adam Sandler having sex with old women.
I happen to like it when Sandler goes overly silly, like he did "Billy Madison", "Little Nicky", and "The Waterboy", and seeing Adam Sandler and John Turturro battle each other in a psuedo-super heroic fashion is pretty funny.
Nothing too great, but I'd still rather see this again than "50 First Dates" or "The Longest Yard".
Big Nothing Big Nothing Unrated 3.5 Stars
Surprising.
Lots of twists, although with these types of movies I've come to expect that.
Funnier than I expected it to be, thanks to Simon Pegg.
Plus, I loved the soundtrack. Gotta love a movie that includes Rammstein and 2 Local H songs.
Hero Hero PG-13 2.5 Stars
Great fight scenes, but the story itself was ridiculous.
