Paul Blart: Mall Cop PG

Another Starz freebie. This was surprisingly better than I expected (although after the disappointment that was BS2, that's not as surprising). A few exciting twists and turns, but it's your basic fat man on segway saves day, gets girl plot (is that really a spoiler?). The rock singer REALLY looks (and more importantly acts) like Adam Sandler (ala Eddie Murphy in Coming to America) although I couldn't find him listed in the credits. Anybody can confirm or deny? It is a Happy Madison production after all...

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day R

This long awaited sequel doesn't quite deliver. I felt sort of like I did after walking out of the Phantom Menace ... "Boy, that might have been an ok movie if I hadn't been waiting on it for so long!" Having watched the original right before going, it was obvious that they rerun some of the same formulaic plot points, while putting an updated, almost cheesy spin on it. Action packed and exciting, this flick is certainly worth seeing - just separate your expectations from the awesomeness that is the first one. Most of the old players show up, although Sean Patrick Flannery hardly looks like himself.
