End of the world films have been done to death, but this had some mere individuality to the others. When watching, degrading the fact that certain circumstances occurring in the film were not at all realistic, and impossible to believe, but like Indiana Jones, it's something you push aside to enjoy the film. There were upbringings of comic relief after these sorts of situations that the director has obviously placed so viewers were not rolling their eyes.
After High Fidelity, it is impossible to lose respect for John Cusack's undeniably fantastic talent for acting. Many of the other actors were unknown, but overall, I enjoyed the acting.
The placement of a random relationship between the presidents daughter and the scientific adviser seemed far to irrelevant to the storyline, ruining the concept a little.
Overall, considering graphics, acting, cinematography etc, I really enjoyed it.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon
PG-13
As boring as the book was, the movie was pretty damn boring too. Cinematography was average, acting was okay...but overall *snore*
First film was kinda better..

The story line of this is so touching. The way it has followed this one man, surviving the war, dying to play a piano again. Fantastic direction, cinematography and acting.

Possibly one of the best films I have ever seen. Outstanding screenplay, and casting was superb. The director has truly captured our Australian culture throughout different characters and settings. Story was well shown, as I have not read the book, I cannot compare. There arn't enough decent Aussie films out there.
