This movie annoyed me. Yeah I guess it made sense at the end (and I think there were probably some parts that intentionally didn't make sense that they threw in there just to be cute, or better yet, to ensure that other parts did make sense to us, which practice the movie itself, either sincerely or tongue-in-cheek-ly complains about at one point), but the underlying concept falls under the heading of existentialist BS, and that doesn't fly in my book. I guess I can give them a few points for technical proficiency and extreme effort on the recurring motifs, but overall, this movie does not get a favorable rating from me.

Interesting. Holds your attention. Morgan Freeman is good although there are weak spots in the acting. A decent sample of its genre, although (spoiler) I'd like to see a movie like this where they actually get to throw the guy in jail instead of just shooting him on the spot in a fit of rage.

Brilliant. A masterpiece of imagery and tragedy. An exposé of greed, stupidity, misplaced motives, and just plain bad stuff, contrasted with a force of justice and good. Good storytelling, beautiful setting, a fair portion of humor.

Excellent movie. I cried. Action-packed and driven by purpose. Don't even see the trailer before watching it though, it completely ruins the ending.
