Michelangelo Antonion was a great director . from the persons in the art , which can not find a new one . here has a great cast . he was very despotic personality , cruel and hard to his cast . Action , mystery , and his big advantage ...Capturing pictures , full of history , of beuty of reality

All Quiet on the Western Front (1930,  Unrated)
All Quiet on the Western Front
having as background a very strong antiwar book the film can touch the quality of book ..it is one of the classic traps when you make a film based in a very good film
i show some elements , which give the reality of one of the most weird war .
deep in the ground the soldiers , without ideology , just wait there and nothing happens . and of course a guy who wants glory throw all ...
238
Long Day's Journey Into Night (1962,  Unrated)
Long Day's Journey Into Night
i think it one of the best ,maybe the best play in theater by Eugene O Neil ...i leave behind the very known conversation about if you can make films great plays from theater ...anyway those years we had many and very good films based on magnificent theatrical plays . For example we had many films from plays by Tennessee Williams { smoke on the water } here very good actors
a full talents director and the rest cast , product a nice film .

Simón del desierto (Simon of the Desert)
the third film after Viridianna and EXTERMINATOR ANGEL....IF in the first Luis Buñuel is studding the flesh , and in the second the power and human vanity here is talking with his unique style about man and GOD ...there is a mistake in the information of film . Simon hired to the column not to be nearest to God , but as a hard ascetic mood ., it was a trial we had very early in the history of Christianism ....first in East dogma and later to Catholicism ...there is the saint Simon or in Simeon , who lived for many years in a column in Egypt desert

Ladies in Lavender (2005,  PG-13)
Ladies in Lavender
what to write somebody here ? the story is simple ....Two old ladies who live in Cornwall , find and take home , a young Polish violinist ...they teach English to them ...all these in 1936 ...
the roles of the two old sisters is performed by two , for me , holy female actresses ...JUDI AND MAGGIE , MAGGIE AND JUDI . Judi Dench and Maggie Smith ...only for this i could see the film .....Judi has 5 Batfa and i think that is two times Academy award , for the one i m sure , was in Chocolat .....She also plays M , in Jame s Bond films .....Maggie has a lot of prizes and two times Academy award { i m sure here }
a low profile direction by the great actor Charles Dance Dance....
another excellent English film
252
Miller's Crossing (1990,  R)
Miller's Crossing
Albert Finney runs a corrupt town in the 1920s, Gabriel Byrne is a brainy sort sometimes allied with Finney, and a stellar lineup of eccentrics (John Turturro, Steve Buscemi, Jon Polito) fills in the background of this marvelous, and pretty serious, fresco. It's noir with a touch so light, the film seems to float on the breeze like the Frisbee of a fedora sailing through the forest.
253
Ninotchka (1939,  R)
Ninotchka
and plus in the film Greta GARBO ...
