you can't see the demon but that's what makes it so frustratingly terrifying, but all the scary parts that make it a horror movie are here, the moving door, the lights the continue to flicker on and off in the middle of the night, the mysterious heavy thumping and the heavy breathing, you name it, all here! this horror movie will be one that people will talk about in years to come, so bravo!

this is a low-budget sci-fi movie but it doesn't feel that way when you're watching it. the story is simply brilliant. we even feel the pain of being an alien in a place where nobody welcomes you with warm greetings. and it's something that we may have felt at one point or another. this movie is gonna be one of the few that people will talk about in the future for its outstanding cinematic excellence. bravo to neill blomkamp for giving a voice and a soul in this movie. and thank God peter jackson for believing in neill. i don't care if they decide to do the sequels or not, just as long as they can be great or even better.

definitely better than the order of phoenix, about 75% of the movie stays true to the book. we get to see the adolescent love, heart break and rivalry. quite, quite happy with the movie though i thought the ending is not as expressive as i would like it to be, as in the book. for those of you who feels disappointed after watching the movie, don't! this is a movie, not a book. there's no way every detail in the book could fit in a movie, let alone a 2,5 hour one. for me, so long as the director and the script writer stays true to the spirit of the novel, then they do a good job in delivering the good movie to us. and so far the half-blood prince do the justice. so what are you waiting for? go and enjoy the film. sectumsempra!
