Jennifer could have a great body BUT her movie is oddly empty and hollow and not scary nor funny.
Watchable.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas)

¨The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas¨ is a beautifully scripted and shot film where the great success is its simplicity. The chemistry they had with these two young actors, they worked so well together as these innocent boys who both have no idea what's going on. Bruno doesn't know why his friend is behind fences, and his friend doesn't know why he's there either. The ending is extremely powerful and the story keeps you interested.

A Mighty Heart

A ¨Mighty Heart¨ is an ironic title for a movie that lacks heart. The film is well acted but it lacks any emotion. It is flat and laborious.
A decent watch with nothing special to remember it by and for a movie that was expected to evoke emotions it failed.

Visually captivating BUT it is the weakest and simplest in the franchise, though the movie provide some funy moments it is a forgettable and hollow installment, FINE for kids BUT older fans will be checking their watches.

Disney's A Christmas Carol

Whiteout

The idea of using Antarctica as a scene for such a crime is interesting but it can't carry the whole movie. A lot happens in the story, but, it's all artificial, uninteresting or unbelievable. The story is very simple and uncomplicated plot. Even the "twist" is totally predictable. The action could have been better if not for some blurry fast action moments.
The movie is not boring and has decent moments But it was a waste of oportunity, it could have been a lot better.

The documentary approach to presenting this film makes it nearly believable. It gives you an honest impression of what our race would do, and how it would treat, a stranded alien race. How our species would prey on them to advance our own, and subjugate them into a second class stature.
It's well-crafted, fast, has great editing, the main character was enjoyable to watch and likable, the special effects were insanely realistic, the acting was spot on, and the plot was almost completely original.
¨District 9¨ is visually and fundamentally stunning.

A Perfect Getaway

Not perfect, but a fun movie. This film really succeeds is in the cinematography and acting, both of which are great, though most of the flix is character development it never turns boring and even though I figured out the "plot twist" , it still kept me interested to the end.

All About Eve

"All About Eve" is a great timeless tale of ambition, manipulation and betrayal, and certainly one of the best classics ever. Everything perfectly works in this movie: the direction is very precise and tight; dialogs are very acid and intelligent; Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, George Sanders and Celeste Holm have awesome performances in very powerful characters; the dramatic story is amazingly good, showing what an evil person can plot to reach fame and success.

Gone Baby Gone

"Gone Baby Gone" is an impressive debut of Ben Affleck as director of feature. The story is original, supported by an outstanding screenplay with several plot points and a polemic conclusion, and the performances are great.
Ben does a better job behind the cams.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

As expected, the effects were spectacular BUT lacking of story that couldn't keep pace.
More of the same, JUST a bit longer and boring, PLUS annoying characters.

Blades of Glory

"Blades of Glory" is an entertaining movie with some very funny moments.

Sunset Boulevard (Sunset Blvd.)

"Sunset Boulevard" is a great movie. It works on two levels - as a satire about the hollowness of fame and Hollywood, and also as a look at what happens when one has fallen from grace. Its status as one of the greatest movies of the era is certainly well earned, and it has certainly survived the test of time.
Nothing less than brilliant.
