Buio Omega (Beyond the Darkness)

"Buio Omega" Aka. "Beyond the Darkness" is certainly an exploitation film Joe D'Amato, but the viewer should see this film more as a psychological thriller with some gore scenes in it, thought the gore scenes are very graphic and nasty, they are not gratuitous, they are an essential part of the story.
The sick, twisted and kinky.

Brick

'Brick' is a film noir murder mystery featuring contemporary high school students who talk and behave like 1940's-style gangsters.
The cinematography is great, the acting is good from everybody involved, good fights and a good deal of suspense, with a strangely compelling and cleverly constructed story, BUT attention must be paid because the plot is very hard to follow. Right from the start, so many crucial details are given, I sometimes lost track of the already shady motives of the film's characters but it is all connects in the end, much more than the average denouement in your typical noir.
A very stylish and original neo-noir.

Exposé (The House on Straw Hill) (Trauma)

This film was included on the infamous 'Video Nasty' under the title, 'Exposé' aka. "House on Straw Hill". Like a lot of films on the list, this one doesn't feature a great deal in the way of gore. It does have a handful of bloody sequences, but nothing enough to warrant it's banning in my opinion.
Considering that it's a thriller, the film doesn't feature a great deal of tension, but the action is kept engaging by the way that it sets up the storyline. The film moves slowly, but in doing so is allowed time to let its characters grow and the plot to build.
A good explotation thriller that will entertain and even surprise you on more than one occasion.

Let Sleeping Corpses Lie(Non si deve profanare il sonno dei morti)(Don't Open the Window)

Also known as "The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue". This is a very good zombie film. It is very well made and is intelligent as well as visceral. It is one of the best and most underrated of its sub-genre, which is atmospherically spooky and ghastly creative.
I would unequivocally recommend it to fans of zombie movies and European exploitation cinema in general.

Beyond the Door II (Schock) (Suspense)

"Schock" is the last movie of Mario Bava. It is an entertaining and professionally made ?Haunted House' chiller, containing multiple other horror elements Great camera-work of the house's interior and surrounding features adds to this slickly made feature. The visuals are definitely its strongest part and that also goes for the well-crafted climax and the acting is above average.
The story might be very simplistic but you can't deny the professional nature of the production. It's filled with a great blend of atmosphere.
A worthy final installment to a brilliant career.

Gordos

"Gordos" (overweight) is a Spanish film from the director who brought you "DarkBlueAlmostBlack". The movie has wonderful performances and a good script that moves from comedy to drama without realizing it.
Pleasant funny film!

H2: Halloween II

The first movie was promising but seems that Rob Zombie tried so hard to make a better/artistic follow up that he ruined it. I personally found to be disjointed, messy, uninteresting and poorly constructed. Most of the scenes were annoying, specially the dream scenes and Scout Taylor-Compton who played Laurie, as a dramatic actress is a failure. A point in favor is that it is violent and raw in some death but not too much as it was anticipated.
After watching the movie I quite understood why Rob doesn't want to shoot another "Halloween" ...

Santa's Slay

''Santa's Slay'' needs to be considered more of a black humor comedy then a horror movie. I didn't find this movie very funny, just some chuckles, and there was not gore at all.
If you watch it, don't expect a good/decent movie, actually don't expect much at all. Just watch it for some action moments, not the story.

Not as good as I was expecting but not bad either but i felt it was lack of tension and suspense. It is an ok unremarkable thriller and very predictable, at least for me.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life

"The Meaning of Life" just doesn't do as much as I would have hoped it would. Everything's slightly more average and it just doesn't catch your attention so much. Despite from that, it's still worth watching.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

A little better than the first in the fluency aspect but it is not a movie that guys will enjoy as girls will but it is still a decent watch.

Niñas Mal (Charm School)

This a Mexican movie which is very predictable and has the classic stereotypes that we having seen in many teen movies. The movie delivers a couple of chuckles but nothing more.
