A very atmospheric and suspenseful sequel to Män som hatar kvinnor (which I haven't seen, but this one works fine on its own). The performance by Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander is particularly convincing and memorable.
Absolutely astounding, undoubtedly the best moving picture made in recent years. Moon, the debut film from director Duncan Jones, is a masterfully eerie, moving, funny, humane, gripping and intelligent indie sci-fi film. Sam Rockwell's multilayered performance is exceptional. The less you know about the plot in advance, the better.
Stylish, meticulous and artistic but lacking in true feeling. The performances by Depp, Cotillard, Bale and others are impressive, but the story is a bit superficial and there isn't enough character development to make it truly compelling.
A mind-numbingly corny and uninspired preteen flick for wannabe cinderellas. And no, I don't know why I watch this crap, either. Or maybe I secretly want to be a princess!!!11 LOL!! XOX! <3 <3 <3 :p
The story is a bit ridiculous and Jacqueline Bisset, playing Bullitt's girlfriend, is distractingly wooden and utterly useless, but overall this is a well-directed and intense action thriller. And no one can deny Steve McQueen's coolness.
