wow. this movie was bad. and long. so it was a long time of bad. we hadn't read it so we stuck it out just to find out what happens. but seriously, not recommended.

ian mckellan is good, because he always is, and alfred molina does well though he's not a big part of it. it's just amazing that tom hanks and audrey tatou can be so awesome in other things, and then suck so heartily in this.

three hours gone.

hilarious and fun. can't wait to read the book as well!
