  Speed Racer (2008)

  Oh man this movie was a blast to me. As a kid who grew up watching the show everything was there. Everything from the action, to the drama. They even remembered that Pops was a professional wrestler.
  
  This was a fan film with a 100 million dollar budget. It got everything just right for the fans. The style is perfection and brings you right back to an animated feel. A lot of people say it would have been better as CGI but then it wouldn't have been as original.
  
  This is by far the most original film I've seen on the big screen in a decade. Nothing comes close to being as fun or smart.
  
  People are saying the cars are in the air too much. They're always flipping around doing crazy stunts. These are people that never saw the show... never saw the episode "The Most Dangerous Race" (which was 3 parts).
  
  The only thing that really annoyed me about the movie that it was too heavy handed in the plot department. It had about 10 minutes of too much dialog.
  
  Now if you're saying this movie had a serious tone at times and that it didn't fit, then you don't know what you're talking about. The family drama was perfect. It existed in the original cartoon and it couldn't be any better here.
  
  OH and Spritle and Chim Chim steal the show for me. Best "giving the bird" moment since Top Gun.

  If you've never seen the cartoon, chances are you're not going to like this film... if you think anime is for dorks or nerds, you're not going to like this film... if you think it's for kids only, you're not going to like it.
  
  But if you are a fan of the show, then you'll know this movie is the best adaptation of a cartoon to the big screen ever made.

  Really different,yet really cool,I am telling you I absolutely love John and Joan Cusack starring together they got to be 2 of the coolest siblings I have ever seen.They act so well together.Hilary Duff was a baaaad little girl in this flick,I am sure the guys will dig it.Ben Kingsley with a southern accent is a trip beyond words.Marisa Tomei rounds out a weirdly, wonderful cast.Oh, and I never knew John Cusack had it in him to kick so much ass,Nicely done John!!Cool Movie =)

  Ahhh So cool,I love this!Such an excellent cast,I don't think Casting directors get enough credit,they should.Anyway RIDICULOUSLY funny.Russel Brand and his comedy stole the show for me,he is freakin hilarious.Its laughs all the way through and then some.If you like comedies this will do the trick.SEE IT!! P.S. The Dracula Song Rocks (The Bar Version!)

  Really Cool flick I liked this one.Yeah it smelled a little predictible here and there but who cares? The twisted concept of this movie was like a weird cross between Se7en and The Saw movies, so if you like either of those or both you will most likely love this.Intense at times I did enjoy this movie.I am recommending this one.=)

  Do not read this if you want to see this movie!You have been warned.Ok now then.I wanted to see this movie because I love Naomi Watts.Now for the life of me I can't understand why the girl would bother getting involved in a movie like this.It's an utter MESS.Pointless,plotless,and so boring and dragged out at times you could go do meaningless tasks for 10 minute stretches during certan parts of this.Honestly in my opinion a complete waste of film.I would like to see the original (I think) but there is just NO answers,like why were these 2 white gloved weirdos doing all tyhis crap AT ALL?Also WHO in their right minds could just carry on and barely even cry or be upset after their son has just been blown away in front of them.WHAAAAAAAAAAAATEVER.Totally unrealistic.CRAP I really wanted to like this one.

  This was a pretty cool movie,I was just expecting more of what the trailer gives us.What you get though is kind of an unexpected suprise.A story of Regret,Haunting memories and even sadness at times.It's kind of a dark comedy,I liked it ,like I said if you are looking for the whole movie to be like the trailer you will most likely be disappointed.
